Article is ok, and all drivers are human beings with good mind
by Jack Bruce on Jan 25, 2011 05:41 PM  | Hide replies

Article is ok, and all drivers are human beings with good mind, so people compare drivers useless and mindless?
people just think and treat them as only driver but they do not know thier value in thier personal life.
Infact, what the writer of this article want to explain here? Everybody have thier own begin, thoughts and knowledge in thier life.

Driver in India

It talks a lot about the sorry state of affairs in India that anybody behind the wheel is always thought of as a driver & not a leader

What I taught my driver
by suhas kirpekar on Jan 24, 2011 11:30 PM  | Hide replies

My driver was with me for two years when I basically told him that whatever he does, he will always remain a driver - he should learn new skills. In time, he attended evening college (the best he could) and graduated. Today he is working as an office assistant in a mid size company. Needless to say he is earning over two and a half times what he was earning as a driver. If this Karunan guy was really smart, he would have bettered his lot instead of spouting epiphanies regarding what essentially is a dead end job.

Well, he did his college over four years while working with me - I tried my best not to keep him after office hours too much. But I am happy for him. And btw, my current driver is someone referred by him - so it works both ways I guess! :))

Well, so you are good motivator, you just taught him about things saying that nothing is impossible thats it.
Else not a big deal to write, there are many who has done something differebt and they are in high position, with 3,4 fold of thier salary.

So why not go back to your hut and live those lessons instead of preaching every one ?

Every one here has different life. Every one wants to lead a life of his/her choice.

No disrespect to karunan guy you so liberally used in your narrations.

This crappy rediff too must stop this dumbass , and aimless public cermonistic articles.

Stop pretending like you are some repentant soul who got some instant dose of wisdom.

You are snotty and this is the usual scene with people who have just passed out and has a degree in his back pocket. When it comes to real life you will not stand a chance with this attitude of yours.Pratical experiance is the best teacher.
