The private parts of Men and women of all skin shades are "DARK". Well that's the reality, why this craze & Fuss for Superficial colour. After all its the Dark private parts that are fiddled by both men and women in privacy.

Ambani is dark and the whitest woman will want to marry him. So does colour really matter? Rajnikant is the darkest actor in India and the richest also. Its all about your personality and inner self.
I don't know, who actually buys these creams. Having a really big family, noone uses such products. The massive hype of fair WHITE skin comes from Indian states where there are a small portions of erstwhile Arab/Turki rulers, like Punjab, Pakistan and Delhi and of course multi-national companies of Europe who help these Arabs in order to prove their skin colour is better. We as defenders of India and our national skin colour must eliminate these elements. Let's come together and kill these people. They are the last remnants of oppressors and colonialists. Let's our pride of having Indian skin flourish all over our nation
As long as women are expected to appear beautiful, this problem is not going away.
Most of the mature, educated women in America, Europe and now in India, spend time applying tons of cosmetics - they waste such a great chance.
The 2 ways that women with darker skin can get same treatment is:
1. The wrong way: Men start calling brown/dark women sexy and hot. That takes everyone down the sewer.
2. The right way: Beautiful fair "shapely" women stop applying make-up, and equally, start actively focussing everyone's attention on their personality, character, intelligence and abilities.
They should start a broad media campaign on ordinary-looking women who achieve things in life.
Can we imagine Katrina Kaif or Bipasha Basu or Aishwarya Rai starting a TV series where they select women who have great personalities, fit bodies, tremendous character, from the ordinary Indian populace and say specifically -
"This woman is beautiful, I am merely a model."
Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Shilpa Shetty are much more respectable than attractive. One feels great respect seeing the good things they do.
See Munnabhai and Gandhigiri. But look at Munni - she wants to show her waist, navel and buttock motions.
Beautiful?
Rani Mukherjee is a stub of a creature, but look at her mind and skills.
As long as *some* popular women want to seduce men, most men will look only for seduction, ie. white/fair skin.
what is the fuss all about....we live in a free world...so if people prefer fairer spouses wat s the damn problem.....they re free to use fairness creams...its upto them.. i don t see a reason to prophicize all this...
why only fairness creams... ridiculous advertizing is the game of the day...look at coke, pepsi...selling useless junk in name of health drinks.. ... why separate out a brand...
if all you are against consumerism..then stick to the principle..why target one industry...
and if not then let people do whatever they want.. we live in a free country

A few years ago, fair and lovely had a marketing campaign where they taught illiterate village girls how to apply fair and lovely in an '8" on their face. Rather than teaching these girls something worthwhile, they teach them to apply fairness cream. Wow, what an apt use of living in a free country.

yesterday there was an article in timesofindia about few racist incidents..
and some indians commenting that aussies are very racist.. without looking into their own society.. indian is the most racist coutry in the world..do i need to mention that north indians are the most racist ? just look at any rajini movie forum and you will find ample proof of the racist nature of indians.. i really cant believe when these same people comment about the racist nature of aussies when they have so much dirt in their mind..
given an opportunity and if there is lot of immigration like aus, then the world will know how racist india is and india will become the racist capital of the world...

Trust me, they know already. It is one of the things that many non-Indians use to divide and rule even NRIs. Fortunately or unfortunately, Indians don't become "fully Indian" even after leaving the country. They stick to their own groups and tend to stick to their mindset, even though they see otherwise in day to day life. Time does change some things but Indian-ness is a secondary state of being, as opposed to linguistic lines, though religion doesn't seem to be much of an issue these days honestly.
And this is used perfectly by all others to just control Indians. In fact it is common to unnerve Indians by just asking them about the caste system and why it is existent even now in India. Most Indians just get defensive when put into this situation. A few more such situations and they're putty in the hands of others.

ppl who have good features still look good if they have dark skin. you can see africans esp who have good features and muscular build ..they look good.plus they have talents of sports, music etc white skin can also wrinkle easily and also get skin cancer. ofcourse I like most ppl would prefer light brown skin.
(but the real factor is INTELLIGENCE. who rules the tech world and biz makes the rules.if all dark ppl were doing heavy scientific research and computer innovation etc,then would color matter..? its the stereotypical white color= science and tech that creates the division )
