No body puts a gun to your head to come here. Remember that Indians are studying what the west has already discovered or invented. You go back to India and stay there.
In current times ORTHODOX style of teaching technology and science in classroom is obsolete. Nothing new in IITs now. Everthing is outdated be it Faculty, Director, Courses, Electives, Research, Exchange, Credit Transfers, Library, Activities etc.. Bright and Sharp Students should directly to Go TO USA for studies and can save 4 years time wasting in Indian IITs.
If you don't get into IIT don't be disheartened. Remember there are successful people who weren't part of IIT or weren't engineers either. So take it easy and enjoy what you study.
well this is good & just a beginning of a long journey. Lets see what she does after finishing Engineering from IIT. She will serve the country or USA/ Canada will decide how much she succeeded in life.

well ssid dear, i mean those last few lines... i was in very backward place of north east when i appeared for medical ent...altough i have secured the pass marks...but as that time there was reservationtion OBC...i left out in the race ,,however few of friend even with a mark of 45 ...to 60 range got the seat as they belong to SC and ST... catagory...my life was almost at eand ...i aws very down..later i did B Pharma , now i am working in US based pharma gaint and ...with a luxury life and hansome salary i am having a great time......so allways be posetive never surrender
the girl says she will take up linguistics at MIT. she may have cracked IIT, but not every IITian becomes a scientist. She herself says ,IITs are tough , so she wanted to take the challenge. Clearing the IIT , may have given her a huge ego boost, but i am sure she can't be a scientist or an innovator.
