Congratulations, Aakansha! You certainly are an amazing person! Getting into MIT would have been difficult. Well, how did you fair in your SAT and you amassed scholarships worth how much?
PS - Apologies for being insensitive, but I am just curious...
Amazing feat. "Love what you do".. I think this is missing in 99.99% of the students. They do something because of everyone else's wishes other than their self. Great. I also earnestly wish that you go only to MIT or Stanford and NOT to IIT. IIT's by virtue of its socialist foundations is nothing more a congregation of bunch of arrogrant closed minded erudites where the real talent can never be honed. These days people nuture aspirations to find a job as an analyst in an investmenet bank after passing out of IIT. Moreover your decision should be a SLAP on the face of the Govt and the IIT system.
MIT / STANFORD will support you in WHATEVER you want to make out of you and you will find an extremely supporting environment to explore any thing that comes to your mind anytime..lifetime.
Akansha is quite right that one should not get disheartened if not selected in IIT,whatever field you take up give ur 100%, you will be on top of the world. Congrats Akansha. A.Sivakumar
