Wait till CET results........passing result of only latur district-72% & nanded district-26% both distict include in LATUR BOARD, latur pattern is limited for only latur city and ahmadpur and udgir.
it was basically adopted pattern by the up and bihar state boards which have rampant copying...see mullayam allowed copying in the exam....now the chavan govt has decided to crack whip on the dumbos in latur who used to copy and get into the good engg. colleges and fail in first year itself...we had a 5/6 boys from latur...they didnt have the basics but only good in mugging up things...they failed and were a laughing stock....i was ashamed to see the sorry state of education in maharashtra district especially when we have excellent colleges in mumbai, pune, nagpur, aurangabad, etc...
lot of thing depend on who checks your paper. checking system should be totally computarised. at the end of the day its luck for student in 85% to 95 % ranking. i consider themn same. many student are upset on not reaching 90 % plus. i feel student in this category should be checked by two independent moderator. some moderator are lenent in giving marks where as some are strict. why should student suffer for this decrepancy.

It seems Vijapurkar could not secure a sit to professional college because brilliant guy from Latur grabbed it!! Latur pattern has given good career to lot of students.

Once fell is not that always fail, even Sachin can out on ZERO some times but it doesn't mean that he doesn't know to play. This time Latur Pattern fail but we will show our excellence next time.
I have studied in latur, and i am proud of being learned in Latur pattern. I think most of the students doesn't able to give full attention in 11 th 12 th so being cleaver they score ordinary marks in HSC. But Latur pattern guides you in proper way and doen't allow you any time for other things. Once you get admission to good professional college. No need to llok back it's not imp you complete Degree in 4 or 5 years. Now i am IITian....And result of Latur District is @79 % so it's latur board is down not Latur District.

You are putting IIT to shame with your grammar and spellings. If this is what IIT and Latur gives I am happy that I did not study in IIT and Latur pattern.

Prashant, You are a number one loser. The so called Latur pattern was nothing but a)compel students to mug up everything in the textbook b) rampant corrpuption with many school and collages getting the exam papers prior to exam. This terribly failed this time due to measures taken by some dept.
By the way, where are the so called toppers of Latur, what are they doing now? None of them have reached any heights in life, because they know nothing else but to mug up. They never had been able to pass any exam or certifications which are conducted globally, like Microsoft or Cisco, simply because the moderators are competely neutral. Your english itself shows you in poor light, dont clam to be an IITan. Dude get a life and move on.
I’m from Latur & proud of what it did to me. Hundreds of students from villages come & join colleges - mind pvt coaching is not mandatory. Colleges toil hard & those who get in flow only score. Mind Latur district again is close to 80% result - its adjoining districts that brought down overall Latur board results. But, these other places never had any so called Latur Pattern. All lucky ones who get opportunity flock to Latur and only left over are in other so so colleges. I know many of my friends who made it in renowned grad colleges & later IIT, foreign university MS, Ph Ds. So don’t generalise statements, its only showing up your jealous. Mr. Vijapur - I'll given my 3 yrs to make my life good. I’m sure, given an option- you would also prefer to study in 12th and get better profession.
Unfortunate but true. Not just in latur but this is a sypmtom of the whole India. I am a pass out of maharastra board 10 years ago and passed my engg six years before. presently I am working for last six years. when I go through such articles it send cold shivers through spine about past days.Although I was very intrested in science and got the same but it was very diffucult for me to study continous for 8-10 hours a day after classes as human capability and fatigue takes over. I dont blame partents for this mess. Although my parents pressurised me for continous long studies and I some times felt irritated, but now I understand their helplessness. Today I am reaping the rewards for that long study hours. This unholy mess is created as realistically there is very less scope of bright future outside Engg and medical. Of course a degree is comm is also quiet good. Unfotunately there no respect for fine arts and science in this country. Hence even interested and capable students of these feild sucumb to this trade off and are forced to take courses not of their choice. This fact was hightlighted by our Hounrable X president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It is time to revamp our education system which has to be done by Goverment, Knowledge commision and human resource ministry. Untill some concrete steps are done this would continue and we will every year see frustration levels go up more than the number of students securing centum marks. Final request to all student is life does not end.
Cheats can make you pass but cannot take you to top. Latur has been targeted so we see poor results. I'm sure if the Board looks in other regions, the results will drop down there also.
In professional colleges if one fails from the pattern, people have tendency to apply same rule to all. Many of them are doing good and in top positions.
Only one reason for poor results, everything in excess is a poison. Today, this poison of overdoing pattern has bit Latur.
