the language and thought patterns of the pro-latur patternists are a reflection of what latur pattern did to them. sadly, they wont understand what the really educated (not necessarily scoring) people think of them in the real world.

So sad!! We pro-latur patternists are being judged upon our language. My friend, is there any measure of right thinking or wrong thinking? If u are trying to judge our thought pattern, i will like to request you rectify ur thinking pattern. Don't you find ur comments little absurd?? u r leaving the main subject of discussion and making remarks about language and thinking pattern. I (a pro-Latur patternist) shall never make such comments and shall wish the best for every pattern as long as it caters the dreams of students.. If you think that scoring is what Latur pattern only about then i request you to change ur perception. The imminent personalities who worked upon this pattern have taught us lessons of hardwork, honesty, devotion, responsibility towards society.. Also we know the worth of practical knowledge over scoring.. There are lacs of Latur pattern students which are excelling in professional careers.. Further, i will like to tell you that, it is easy to malign Latur patternists when u be a part of people in the outer world. We don't mind these comments as long as we are doing progress. I hope God will help u to come out of this anti-Latur pattern attitude.. Wishing all-round success for non-Latur patternists.. Vijay Bhore (A proud pro-Latur patterninst)
I think Mr Vijapurkar is virated with the hate virus . It need to be cleaned, sir .Please, never write any article with full biased vision. As far as exam centered so called Latur Pattern is concerned it’s not the pattern which is wrong, it’s the education system which should be blamed. I hope Latur Board will take this result as an opportunity and in the coming years it will prove itself in front of so called progressive , liberal analyst like Mr Vijapurkar from urban Maharashtra. A pure LaturKar will provide you a good antivirus and also kill all the zombies in your mind and surely fork out a new clear vision in you.
Dear Writer, I agree with your comments about robbing off child of joys in impressionable age. but then where does it not happen? It's only Latur pattern what u r looking at. This phenomenon is present across India. About the whispers that, 'students who don't do well after passing out from Latur', i can give thousands of examples who are doing well in their professional careers to shut these whispers.. guys, i did not only 10th, 12th but my BE degree education from Latur itself. today i have experience of 4 years in best Indian IT firm. i m heading towards higher education in one of the best US univ too. i will admit that i am average student in Latur pattern. still i m reaching few milestones for which i consider Latur pattern was a base.
I will like to bring a fact to author's note that with the advent of Latur pattern, thousands of students across state rushed towards Latur. If you think about statistics of this years result make sure that no of students studying in Latur has increased drastically. hence the percentage of failure is bound to increase.. i hope u understand my claim.. rather, i will say 'i hope u r in correct mindset to understand my claim'.. For me author seems to be a biased person who is referring Latur pattern as 'Latur Virus'..
I feel.. Latur pattern gave students from rural areas an access to premier engg, medical, management students across India (rather world).. Pity for author and people who brought politics in this decision.

Politics? Where is the author talking about politics? And regarding the fact that Latur system "robs off child of joys in impressionable age", it is indeed true. Don't we tell parents to let their kids do things other than study? The author too is doing the same

It's not author who spoke of politics. it was mentioned in few comments as Latur's CM vs Nanded CM. i have pity for those people. Yeah, i have agreed in the first instance about Latur pattern's foible i.e. robbing off child of joys in impressionable age. This phenomenon is quite prevalent in all parts of India. so we should not single out Latur pattern alone. It's the education system which we should think of. basic question is that "if my child is not getting X% , will i be able to admit my child in any of the reputed institutes?" The other option is to pay fat donations to these institutes which are ready to accept it. So even if the Latur pattern according to author is rote practice, it helps students and parents to get into good institutes without costing much to their pockets. I forgot to mention that, there are students from Latur who excel in other fields too. e.g. Mangesh Borgaonkar, Rohit came up as good singers; my school 'Deshikendra Vidyalaya' has one of the formidable basketball teams in Maharashtra. Hence, Latur pattern doesn't force every child to kill his/her interests. Moreover, i don't expect a journalist to write such a biased article. i m not at all happy with the terminology 'Latur Virus', rather I am more sad for that terminology. Is this attempt by author to gain publicity? (most easy way to make people know about urself).. I am proud to come from Latur and about being a follower(student) of Latur pattern..

May be Mr Vijapurkar is highly biased towards Latur Pattern . He should have had a thought of why and how this pattern has proved itself year after year overcoming all adverse conditions. Wait till CET results.......
