A great example of Sibal's application of his "education" comes to light when he says he will give mobile phones to teachers so that he can check absenteeism. What a crap idea is that. What happens when:
1. The Teachers switch off the Mobile Phones when they are absent 2. The Teacher bribe somebody (sometimes even Students) to keep the phone in school premises when he/she is absent 3. The teacher's family is happily using the mobile phone to talk for free and increase the national spend just for nothing??
Does he think that the all the mobile phones come with GPS tracking device? This guy will set up a command center to track all the mobile phones that are given to the Teachers. If he gives mobile phones to the Government Teachers, just imagine, they will do all their businesses over mobile phones. Whose money he will spend for that? Tax Payers money? What is the ultimate increase in productivity by proving a mobile phone to the teachers to check their absenteeism. THIS IS HIS LEVEL OF APPLICATION OF HIS EDUCATION. WHAT A TOTAL CRAP MIND HE HAS? UNBELIEVABLE.
Unless he takes steps to motivate the teachers by making them feel proud about their profession, all these things will end in more crap, more bribes, more corruption only.
India higher education system is the 3rd largest in the world, after China and USA. Indian students are better in math and science then china and USA students because more stress on math and scince is given in India then other countries.USA students are more successful then Indian students because they are more out spoken do well in class and outside class too only because they are more effective speakers.Indian education is overall better atleast till the undergraduate degree and for engineering. However, graduate programs in the US are probably far ahead of most other countries due to the critical mass they have and the fact that they attract the best students and faculty from all over the world.
Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal has said that India will have the most educated people by 2030 Correction India will have most pass out from Madarsa by 2030 under patronage of Congress

Well iota... I am neither a fan of Mayawati... but there is something I would like to mention. 7 years back.. in the final year of my Engg, we 60 engineers went for a picnic. In the very first hour of our picnic A swarm of bees attacked us. Believe me the picnic turned into a panic as we ran randomly to save ourselves, and at least three of us got hospitalized with serious bites. Now considering there were few lakh people attending the rally, the bee attack could have created havoc with stampede. That is why I believe the inquiry at the highest level is correctest .
