stress

City life and greed leads to stress if you are happy with what you have there is no stress. Earning roti never leads to stress its butter cheese and toppings which we like to add on the top of roti which leads to stress and sadly the list of toppings is longer than our lives.

by aam aadmi on Mar 04, 2010 06:08 PM

It is al about priority. Our priorities lead us to stress and tensions and for them their priorities give them motivation to stay afloat.

Men & Women

Its not question of Men or Women its hereditary gene to sustain stress. If Father or mother have that gene it automatically come in child. In some family you will see the lacking of facing stress situation. In some family its inherent to face any situation. In today’s world your financial condition plays major role in society. If you are financially strong then you can avoid or you can easily face few stress situations. But finaly yes....Women are practical then men & men are emotional

Women actually causes Stress in men's life and hence they drive men to commit suicide...in any given society be it Indian or western men are more stressed than women...Stress of career, stress of earning, stress of responsibility of running family expenses are all on men in normal circumstances, I knw there are exceptional, but due to current social changes women have become more nagging and demanding, which is now putting a lot of extra pressure on men, things were not as bad a generation back but nowadays things have changed upside down, believe it or not but todays woman is much more powerful than men, by todays woman I mean woman who is well educated, having good career, well earning, these type of women are much more powerful than men, i m not talking abt housewives or working women in some remote village or town...and now men on the same level is much more weaker comparatively, not by strength but by the system with which current society is working...

Yes thts true...becoz of current social structure men need women more than women need men..hence the case, remove the social boundries and women will suffer the way they were suffering in past...My point is we have to apply the social rights according to the social structure in which women lives, a urban city, well educated, well earning women doesnt need all the social securities as a village women needs...Todays women is so power is the side effect of our social structure and it is creating imbalance again but now men r on the suffering side...I still remember the incident when a girl tried to kiss Irfaan Pathan's chick on stage in front of Media and he politely refused and tht girl was miffed in media by his refusal saying tht he shudnt have done tht...Imagin what wud happen a man for doing same thing to Sania Mirza...

Although I don't agree with all you have written above, I like last part of this, the comparison of the "Kiss" incident.... :-)

I think men keep the tension within and women just take out their frustation, so that add up pressure on men....

Women want best of both worlds. Men have to keep tension within. They have to take tension of spouse, family and theirs.

Men Tend to Internallise Our Feelings
by Gaurav GUPTA on Mar 04, 2010 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

The reson probably that men are commiting more suicied is that we tend to internalisse our feelings. If their is a fight at home and the male might bee seething with anger yet he is not able to put across his point of view as he might not want to shout and disturb the peace in the house or he might not be that articulate. Or the couple might be living with the parents as in all large cities and he might not want to cause his parents any additional stress by raising his voice due to which the argument might reach his parents ears and create a bad impression. Secondly woman tend to be hippocritical when it comes to relationships. They might openly discuss the problems amongst each other or close female relatives but a man has no such outlet. Can u imagine the scene that would get created if a 3rd person tries to put across the males point of view. it will be simply "How dare you talk about our relationship to your mother/my mother/ frnd etc.." so the man is locked in a downward spiral and hence commits suicide.

You still seem to be in 1940s. Where is the time for today's women, be it a housewife or an employee to open up her feelings? We are also sailing on the same boat.

You might be correct, but the fact is that guys rarely open up to anyone.

They discuss insignificant things like soprts, films, politics amongst closest friends whereas women discuss their personal life.

MEN vs WOMEN
by madhu on Mar 04, 2010 03:57 PM  | Hide replies

I think a woman can handle any kind of stress provided she has the will power and support of her family. If she is totally independent, then also the fear of failure and insecurity in the society at one point of time makes her more precautious and make her ready to face boldly anything that comes her way. Secondly, we, ofcouse 60-80% of women, want to find out a solution to any problem although it makes her sick instead of just pondering with it. Hence we are ready to face the stress and come out successful.

But alas! poor men! they have more extra baggages once married. Unless they are alert during teenage and secure themselves financialy and with a good job, they are going to be marred when married both in personal and official life.
