By doing so they are spoiling careers of lakhs of students. How these students will compete with other students for Enginnering/ Medical courses admission to which are based on marks scored in MCHET/CAT etc. Instead of giving impirtance to Marathi, they should inprove unfrastructure and upgarde syallbus and bring in par with ICSE/CBSE.

dude MH is well off in everything..sad u r a marathi & not fully aware of it..go to other and live there and you will see the diff..and about the syllabus and infra u talking..im a SSC/HSC/BE guy from MH state who teaches US univ students!! & im not saying just for the heck of it nor making this up!rest up to you !

Pls. compare 10th Std.Science and Maths syllabus of ICSE and SSC Board. SSC board syllabus is not even 1/10th of ICSE Board. Now frankly tell me if you have a single child who want to become Doctor/ Engineer and you have option of going for ICSE and SSC Board what you will select?

The BE guys may be from ICSE/CBSE Board. Just think why more nad more schools in Mumbai are shifting to ICSE Boards. Because they have syllabus for over all growth and can compete with US students

MH Govt. has been slapped thrice on its face by High Court in last 3 years continously ( A Hat trick). Now will get a big Bamboo from Supreme Court. Really MH govt. is shameless.

U worry about your own bankrupt state runned by mafias.
yur parent state cannot take care of you, dont be a burden on other states
U should fight and argue with yr impotent leaders running yr parent state
The entire education system in our country has to be modified so that all students whether it be s.s.c or inter or puc,the core syllabus should be made common, in all the states.the exam pattern also has to be made common, changing when the need arises, for eg THE NEW IITPATTERNIN OFFING.After the 10 classor 12 class many students opt to study in other statesfor prep to write all the common entrance exams.so whether it be ssc, or cbse, or icse, or matricculation, the syllabus should be ideally the same or wity little modification. In all parts of INDIA, STUDENTS STRUGGLE with bilanguageor triple language pattern at 10 class level.so students are the worst hit as they cannot do well in all subjects.SO change the present system for abeeter one as well as the grading systemIt is the parents who go thro hell before they can complte the education of their wardsCC

Amen...SSC HSC shuld teach only Marathi,English & 3 core subjects!..ICSE& CBSE shuld pot for colleges outside MH..problem solved!
