I strongly support this drive to avoid having caste is the census. If we have to have any divsions, then it should be on basis of the economic status. There are so many Indians from the so called backward classes who live life better than the maharajas of yesteryears..I hope our leaders are listening and are bold enough to stop this divide game.

No. It must be on the basis of caste. otherwise how else we will know the right statistics to play caste divisions & manipulate voters? Hard core data like this census will be very useful for playing with the Country's electorate & will lead to more accurate expenditure & effort for those from whom votes can be expected.

It has been observed that only dominant caste like yadavs are eating up most pie of OBC reservation , so we demand a caste based reservation like yadav 2% , gujjar 5% , it is illegal to club all lion and lambs under OBC category and ask them to compete.

If you don't count and identify sick people in a group then how are you going to provide treatment for them?
not only caste, language should also be taken into consideration. All marwaris & gujus are owning all property in our mumbai & most IAS/IPS?Private industry management in North Indian. All land/property/businesses belonging to all non marathis must be aquired under Land aquistion act & returned to marathis who are the sons of the soil
First of all, instead of abolishing caste, we have institutionalised it by bringing in caste-based reservations, thus ensuring caste system for another millenium at the least. So why should we be hypocritical about it? Let's have a caste-based census and know where we stand and whether the logic for caste-based reservations holds any water.

reservation divides us by three groups. caste census divide us by 3500 casted of India. Get it to your brain. This is the difference between reservation and caste census. I am not eligible for reservation anywhere but I want resrvations to bcs and scs in a limited way, may be 50% but not at all levels. But I am desd against caste census because it is harmful for us.

ye vithala if you dot belive in caste, then why cant you maary all your family members to adivasi kukis, cobbler and harizanormahar. why they say please excuse. start unity from yoru family itself
After this census, you will find that you belong to a dominant caste. Then surprisingly, you will be classified as back ward caste.Surprisingly, politicians will show pity on you. Your caste members will join politics. They will get seats in Rajya sabha or Lok Sabha. Your caste politicians will become rich and arrogant. Then they will forget you and become animals. May be you will be one among them. Pity the Brahmins and other Forward Castes. You are getting less and less in number and they will term you out caste.
Even the Britishers have not done that great damage to this coutry, that our politicians are doing. They all should be taked at one place & stoned to examplary death so that in future no body should come & divide this country. This is what we want to give our kids in future???????????????????????????????????????????
I dont like it but going by so many news items, we still seem to have a problem. Just by saying it should not be used, we are not solving it. Maybe it is time to try some alternate methods and find out if knowing actual numbers might help. Yeah, I know the cons but let all of us get involved and influence instead of waiting for politicians to change by themselves

Is this the cause for which peolpe like Mr Neveen Jindal, Mr junir Scindia and Mr Junior Pilot Joined Congress. 5. Does this country is sleeping into safe hands ? 6. When this game of power and politics will end ? 7. What does this country meant to these people ? 8. Are we all proud indian becuase of these people ? 9. Can we be one society one day ? 10. What lies next ?

nothing wrong in caste-based census. politics in india does not work without language, caste, religion and regionalism. these are the foundation stones of politics. nothing wrong in caste based census. if you do not belive in anyhing then you must ask vikhe patil to remove his cap, manmohan singh to remove his pagadi and p chidambaram to remove his lungi, and others to remove their fur. then you can well think of unity.
