I am against the statement that verbal aggression is an early sign of physical aggression. Everybody knows that there is no marital relationship without some verbal aggression happening. One in a hundred develops as physical aggression.
all these problems must be kept within home and not taken to public . embarassing husband in public is against indian culture . if wife gets one black eye she should be happy that her other eye is still ok.

u r a real dumb indian and shame on u tht u've such male chauvinistic thinking.....men and women should be treated equally...no person should harm another person in any case for his/her ego.

Rachana, since when women have become equal to men,not at least in physical power..may be on paper they r equal but nowhere else they hav proven equality, they need sympathy when beatn by husbanda at home, they need reservations and what not. COME ON BE REALISTIC. Dumb India is right - these r private matters and no need to discuss in public. we r already seeing an increae in broken homes due to high expecttations by women.
Atleast now people going for TV realty show need to realise that reality is different from show. Don't go by appearance and marry for looks. In front of a camera, everybody appears good artificially. In real life, things change. Go for mature love after marriage or marriage after love.
Men's violence is condemnable. But as equal opportunities for men and women are becoming prevalent, both are equally in a position to abuse their partners. So it should be equally condemned.
With equal opportunity happening for both men and women, Men and Women are equally in a position to show abuse to their partner. It must be equally condemned.
