she cleans floor etc.
by Vinod Jain on Jan 18, 2010 04:37 PM

It is an eye opener for all, she is a brave heart,I salute her. We search for sportsman but we dont know how to encourage and support them.We spend millions on one sport and render others penniless, there are innumerable cases where our heros are forced to literaly beg a living.
Why this desparity there should be a uniform system to support these glorious persons when they really need the nations help and support.
I appeal to the Govt. and the people to respect their valour and honour them with love and extend help for survival.

Singh, your stress has taken toll of your brain. It is not the position it is the income of a person who is more talented than many others doing jobs better than hers or equal to hers. You should have declared your salary as well as your gardener's. You must agree that the slary when compared to the stress levels of yours and gardners you are getting very high salary than really deserve.

Dear Mr.Singh,

Its not about the position of your job; its about the earnings you are getting by doing your job. May be she is getting only your 5 days salary for whole month of her work. The poor Indians cannot afford to think about any other activities other than food and shelter. So this is a great achievement as far as i concerned.

whole problem is why we even have a sports ministry and wasting taxpayers money ?

It's far better if private players step in and sponsor atheletes.

KERALA STILL TOPS IN SPENDING, HEALTHWISE, CLEANLINESS AND EDUC
by sunil menon on Jan 17, 2010 10:19 AM  | Hide replies

PEOPLE ON THE BLOG JUST MAKE MOCKERY OF MALAYALEES, BUT MALAYALEES ARE FAR AHEAD IN TERMS OF MONEY SPENDING, HEALTHWISE, EDUCATIONWISE, CLEANLINESS (TAKING TWO TIMES BATH) WHICH IN MOST PART OF NATION DOES NOT HAPPEN, TEETH MOSTLY WHITE AS THEY DO NOT EAT OR CHEW PAAN LIKE OTHERS. DRINKING TOO MUCH IS A MAJOR PROBLEM BEING CONFRONTED BY KERALA. INDUSTRIES DOES NOT COME TO KERAL ONLY BECAUSE OF UNIONISM AND COMMUNIST OR CONGRESS GOVERNMENTS HELL-BENT ON DESTROYING KERALA. OR OTHERWISE, IT IS ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL STATE IN THE WHOLE NATION. KERALITES DON'T DEPEND ON ANYBODY AS KERALITES VENTURE OUT FAR FROM HIS/HER NATIVE EVEN TO THE REMOTEST AREAS OF THIS VERY UNIVERSE AND BRING IN MUCH-NEEDED FOREIGN EXCHANGE. KERALITES ARE NOT LIKE LAZY LAGGARD THAT OTHER STATE PEOPLE ARE LIKE. ONLY DUE TO KERALITES ONLY, DUBAI AND OTHER GULF COUNTRIES ARE SHINING TODAY. TODAY KERALA STANDS ATOP ON ANY HUMAN INDEX. AS ON TODAY, IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECTOR, 17% OF WORK-FORCE ARE FROM KERALA. THEREFORE, KERALA IS FAR AHEAD THAN MANY MANY STATES AND COUNTRY.

Please dont blame cricket
by jatinder singh on Jan 16, 2010 06:02 PM

You all are blaming cricket for all this please dont do that the problem is our government system which is terrible. Our ministers and bureaucrats never encourage any sports and if cricket would have been in the hands of government it would have been in the same state as hockey. We dont lack talent we only lack good policies and governance. And please dont blame cricket we should be thankful that cricket is not in the hands of government otherwise they would have ruined cricket and cricketers too like other sports and sportperson.
