this is absolute scrap from rediff. Most of your articles are like this. No fool in the world would think of asking these silly questions in the interview that too during this recession period

very right.today anybody can become iimc allumni by paying 2 lakh rs.they approached me also but were kicked off by me
"Are there opportunities for promotion?".Is it justified for anyone not to ask this question.Everyone should ask about his growth plan & career path with the company while inreview.need comments
Dear Kris, Thanks for such a wonderful mail. I should not ask about the salary hikes, promotions , other positions, transfers, leave policy.. what should i ask? How did IIM C ever allow you to pass out you IDIOT? And is your company making profits?
to the HR head or the interviewer: - how long have you been in this organization - what was your entry postion - what is the total headcount - what is the headcount of the division you are supposed to be appointed - what type of emphasis is taken on employee health and congenial environment - i.e. a healthclub, gym, yoga centre, medical insurance, reading room, relax area etc. - attrtion rate of the organization - organzation structure - and your entry position in the structure -
I think author should specify the target audience for such kind of article, today colleges are very professional to teach this and kids are very smart not to ask such silly questions. But ya if somebody going to apply for first time for some BPO kind of job this advice holds good.
