Accidents or no accident with drunk driving,these should be treated as under: 1.If caught driving in drunk condition before any accident,driver should be booked under same IPC as attempt to commit suicide and intent to murder. 2.If there is an accident and if there is only injury of self or any other they should be booked under IPC attempt to murder. 3.If there is death it should be treated as murder. They are lobbying for this dayan (w itch) and trying get her acquitted with minimal punishment. They are painting a good picture of this lady telling that she was being chased and that she always calls for a cab after being drunk.

One must take a cab even if you have one drink. It works differently on individuals. But try getting a cab on a Saturday night.It is difficult. Some rule for the cab drivers not to refuse a fare is required.
With due respect i appreciate the efforts taken by people amongst us. It is an indication that civic sense is present and so much so desirable amongst many more such people to think of national interest. For OUR NATION and why not. In my opinion few of the stringent measures which have been suggested can be put into place but only when the system is working and equipped to adapt any such move. In other words we have to create the system and make it working rest anything to follow can be implemented. The begining of this can start with the level of Awareness, when we can publicise so much for IPL Cricket, Reality Shows, Marathons etc why not such a campaign which we all know if kickstarted with much ado can give high level astounding results. The govt of Delhi definetly has the power and ways and means to first think of Educating its citizens on a positive note. Why not start a Full scale hyped Marathon or a Love your city Walk or Road Show for such a Cause "NO TO DRINK N DRIVE" CAMPAIGN The bottom line is that we can make this possible if all minds think alike and a lot can make a lot of difference to mobilise the whole system. while you are in the pub...make some friends there and ask them to drop you home...i did the same thing once...a guy was sitting alone and 2 of my friends went to NASA pub...the pub was full and we had only 2 chairs left in the table where that person was sitting alone.. sat there and started speaking to each other... and we became friends... i asked him to drop home... he dropped me back to my home..my friend took my alto and he went home... took the car next day in the office

After getting out of bar, police should note down the vehicle number, name of the driver and test his alchohol level. If some body else makes an accident with the same car in the drunken state in that night, both should be punished. Current law is sufficient to stop drunk driving. Implementation is important!!
There should be agadget in the car which will measure the Alcohol level in the from the bresthing out (Exale) of the driver - if it is above a certain level the car should not start .The system should only measure the drivers exhale .Also if some indiot starts it for the drunk driver and swiches the place - it should not start that me it should be compartmentalised and should be continuously measured .
