No drink should be served in any bar unless the vehicle has driver, drivers name and licencenumberand vehicle number should be noted down by barowner and should be signed by driver.Bars be on outskirts of town
When it said that AVOID DRUNK DRIVING then the simple solution is to remove parking lots in the pubs. Frequent checks should be made by Traffic dept to see that there are no parking lots in pubs.

good one .Make liquor available in all the shops so that people dont run after it as if its somethig precious. Drunken driving will reduce.
If driver found drunk, confisticate vehicle, and book them into a night shelter. Release in morning with a hefty fine and compulsory public service-. And release the vehicle after 5 days. With license marked in registered drunk driving list. Once in list make it a non-bailable offence if found drunk driving a second time, with imprisonment and compulsory public service and vehicle license cancellation and vehicle impounded with compulsory auction of vehicle. The proceeds sent to a Centralised fund for victims of truama and accidents caused by such accidents. The funds should be released towards, court proceeding to fight such cases, medical aid and support to near and dear ones in case of death.
Firstly the law should be made strict. Non bailable offence. Fine of Rs 200,000 and imprisonmne tfor upto 2 years. The licence should be cancelled for a period of 5 years and to reapply the charged should be 1000 times more. If caught again for drinking and driving then fine him 500,000. Secondly police should put up more check post after 11pm in the city specially near bars and pubs. This will certainly frustrate the drivers. Pubs and bars should have their own taxis or do contract with taxi owners to rop them at their home or hotel. Some fine should be imposed on pubs and bars of the person drinks above limit and is not in his senses. This wil certainly make them responsible and vigil about the person drinking. If a person dies in drink and drive then the driver has to take the moral and monetary responsibilty of the family who lost any one of the family members. Increase the drinking age limit from 18 to 21. Advertise more on effects of drink and drive. Post pictures of people caught in drink n drive in newspapers so they get embarresed and think twice before doing it again.
