There is something wrong with this reporter- dont you guys Google for info before you write absolute rubbish ?? This Diwakar Vaish bought these Ready made robots on-line and claims he "designed, created and programmed" all by himself !!! What a fraud! Anyone can buy these Patented Robot Toys on-line for a few dollars, along with all the Programs supplied by the manufacturers.
just type ROBONOVA or BIOLOID in Google search...
Glorifying a school kid who is a liar is a disgrace to his school , college and the Media.
I think its cool to work on project such as this, and its kinda cool. But I dont think its worth putting on news post. Its a hobby, so keep it at that. The rediff guy knows no sh1t, so anything above average is "invention" for them. Not undermining what the guy is doing as a part of hobby, but its not a "talent" and he is not a "child". Kids half age his are doing that stuff here in the US and no one even care. So I guess the rediff guy needs to cool down a little and go easy on his sugar.
he got it made from his dad. In fact u can order these robots pre-made, u only have to program it which his dad did. making good excuses for not studying abroad

I can give you few links of you want to buy one. Seriously. But I would rather suggest you to go for the model planes that fly on gas, a set comes for $350-450, so that the rediff guy can write his next article. And this time it will be a "A guy who makes airoplanes in the kitchen"

Quite natural as Indians can never praise Indian for their achievements. Just like you who find a similie of innovations of Robotics as to toys.

Buddy MRT actually means:- Mobile Robotic Telesurgery So your guess did not work very wisely.

Yaa u r right, why dont u go and catch proper fish, that way we can focus on robotics and u can take ur family tradition in fishing. Best wishes !!

thanks for the wishes. and WOW, you must be infused with some kind of robotic chip up in your brain to give me an identity and found out my tradition by just looking at my comment. keep believing in what you believe.

@Gac: To understand Robotic u need brain and thanks for you above reply, which proves u lack one.

@Kool Guy, i dint know that when you give a reply it proves that you dont have brain. oh, when you replied did you lack your brain which understands robotic? and one more thing to see and comment about the looks of something you really dont need understanding of robotics, all you need is just good eye sight, maybe your brain dint convey it to you. maybe do a overhaul to your brain, it might do some good.

Gac:- If you are judged by your eye then it proves there is no link bwteen your brain and eye. And regarding my brain??? Ha ha ha. If a person cannot distinguish bween a toy and robotics then who needs overhauling or rather replacement of the brain is quite evident. Its funny that brainless creature like you commenting about robotics :-) What else could be expected out of you :-)

@Kool Guy, you are proving that your brain is not conveying the right message. i dint say there is no link between your brain and eye. read it once again, i said "you really dont need understanding of robotics" if this sentence has conveyed that you dont need brain, you are in a serious stage, maybe your brain wont convey even this message straight, and your brain may contradict this, so better get help. i am really sorry for your situation.
Fantastic work dear. Wish you all the success in life. Do not look into the negative comments made so far. By far they do not even know what a transistor is, so a Robotics or chips are a bit of mal digestion for them. In other countries people would have praised you but in India we are famous to critisize an upcoming talent raher than praising his efforts and bring his whole dream out. And all you guys shouting for farmers, what is your contribution towards them?
Mr invernor (if u call urself so) Can you tell me a single benifit to a poor farmer or a common man from your robot? or you are adding one more garbage to the electronic industry??

what is sachin tendulkars benefit to common man or poor farmer? What is SRK & John Abraham's benefit to poor farmer or even AR Rahman's benefit to poor farmer. Were u a born idi0t or just became one?

Jat Kr please remember that this boy is just 18 yrs. He has the telent to create robots & we have to guide him to invent a robot which will be useful to farmers or whoever. DO YOU REALISE THAT IN CONTRAST ALL OUR POLITICIANS WHO ARE NOT 18 BUT 81 YRS NEVER THOUGHT OF ANYONE IN THE COUNTRY IN THEIR 18 TERMS AS MPs & MLAs? EVEN IF THIS BOY INVENTS A ROBOT WHICH CAN DO ALL THE WORK REQUIRED IN INDIA, OUR GREAT MPs, MLAs, IAS, IPS ETC. WILL CLAIM THE CREDIT (EVEN IF THERE IS A REMOTE CHANCE) & MAKE BEST EFFORTS TO SELL IT TO SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY IN THEIR NAME & THEIR CHILDREN'S NAME. So lets try to encourage this boy to bring out something useful for the Common man or poor man than for the AAM AADMI. Because once we say AAM AADMI, CONGRESS MINISTERS WILL FEEL THEY ARE GIVING THEIR LIFE, ILLEGAL MONEY & EVERYTHING.

what is the benefit of your comment to the poor farmer ? It is the job of the government to care about the poor farmer, not a college student.
