Indian party: the legal way
by Gain on Aug 04, 2010 12:14 PM  | Hide replies

If we have to strictly follow the law; this is how we should party:

1. Take permission from local police, neighbours, community etc. (plan this atleast a month in advance)... oops is there a concept of surprise party?
2. To be on the safe side don't get alcohols. Drugs is a strict no no(ok, i support the drugs part)
3. Your party should start at 7pm and end at 9pm (no b'day parties at 12 ;))...
4. Ask your guests to wishper, rather than talk and sing
5. No dance, music or all those stuff
6. Ask your guests to come in community transport, so that you don't block locals parking space
7. Ask your guests to wear formals, just in case moral police comes in and finds guests not properl covered
8. To be on the safe side, only invite guests with family

Woho...there we are...thats called a legal party... cool huh?? :(

This is noting but mere discrimination by the law and police. There are n numbers of cases by politicians where we see every day here in Pune and Mumbai that late night parties, ceremonies, celebrations etc are made and whole city is flooded with hardik subbechaa hording but there is no body to stop them.
These so called police and law have no balls to raid those parties. I strongly condemn there action.
You may had levy fine for breach of law but how do you justify putting these students behind the bars.

Where the country is going
by Vikas Arora on Aug 04, 2010 10:40 AM  | Hide replies

The only mistake done by these guys was to have loud music running after 10 PM. That was a private place and drinking by adults (18 yrs) in a private place is allowed in India. If students will not party then who will be partying...appears those who never got chance to stay and enjoy in Hostels and do such parties are making noise with a feeling that if they were not able to do it then why others should enjoy. Appears this country is trying to follow the extremist Islamic countries.

Ask you own son/daughter.

Rogue Country - Rogue Police
by iota on Aug 03, 2010 11:57 PM  | Hide replies

1. You need a license to organize a party.
But you can assault someone in the name of Moral Policing for Free.

2. You need a license to store alcohol.
But you can distribute liquor in election rallies for Free.

3. You need a license to assemble.
But you can shut down the city under the garb of a BANDH for Free.

Middle-Class pay your taxes and keep quiet.
You are NOT a Vote Bank.

Yes, it is never too late to try to emigrate! The other alternative is to stop partying. Recently the most progressive leader of a very progressive country, Iran, has decreed that promoting music is against religion.

Its an interesting world we're headed for.

My parents were too poor to party, but their richer counterparts partied without any fear. When I was a young man, the only thing we had to fear while partying were the Shiv Sena goons who were allergic to Valentines day, even in the late 1990s and now when my daughter grows up, she has to look out for both the Shiv Sena, SRS AND the Official police.

Interesting progress this.

Students liquor party
by prabhakaran nair on Aug 03, 2010 11:51 PM  | Hide replies

If the students want to have a liquir party let them do it and finish before 10pm after taking the necessary permission. Also they should get the help of the police to remain there for one or two hours for the safety of girl studernts.

STUDENTS SEE THAT HOT LIQUOR NOT TO SERVE.
THE ORGANISORS CANNOT CONTROL A BIG LIQUOR PARTY. THE PARTY WILL END UP IN CLASHES AND VIOLENCE IF HOT LIQUIR SERVES.

THE STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THEIR MOTTO IS TO GET THE MBA DEGREE BY WORKING HARD

They should just get a good fridge, chill the liquor to say 4 Deg. C before serving, should take care of all the problems.
