U SEEM TO BE A MAD MAN or SIMPLY ENVIOUS. The article says that he gave up his seat to join and is topper. Dude by the way NDA exams are far far more difficult to clear than the so called engg exams. And guys like u would require a diaper to even attempt there physical test what to think of clearing one. So baby wear a diaper and do your homework, else if some terrorist comes then u will piss in your pants.

Lalus son joined IPL so as he can get some fresh green grass back for the Buffalos. ;) from diferent statdiums where the IPL was played. If u send him in Defense u will find him grazing. He is better of in IPL than defense lets not pollute them.

Well i am an engineer myself and i never felt i am doing anything for the country? do u? if yes then what? Its work only for the pay cheque and if not satisfied with this employer we jump to other job wherein are we serving may be indirectly by getting some dollars at the most but that satisfaction will never come unless we join the armed forces. So lets not see everything as a negative remark lets appreciate and mativate guys like Sriram instead of talking nonsense.

Its not about any particular profession. Even there are reports of thousand crore scam in defence as well. Most importantly, its the attitude of the individual that counts.
There are people in other sector who do projects to employ hundreds in rural areas and improve their living standard. Also, generously help/contribute towards development of the society

thank god ur not serving indian army othrwise with toughts like that u would definatley sell of our own country. IT is because policitans we are not able to take action like kasab and politicians are choose by us ... so better you dont say or comment abt people who are in defence...they are real heroes ..people like u can only critices ..u have never done anyhting in ur life.
