Common, instead of curing the disease, you guys are trying treat them. The best option, talk to the stalker and lure him to a spot that you are interested in meeting him. Tell your friends and group yourself and catch this guy and trash him before everyone and then handover him to police with all the evidence of calls. Twitting and posting public websites will not help. And if you approach police, they dont take it seriously unless it relates to some politicians or their family members. Police dont have time for common man. But when you really take the theif to police station, they cannot say no.
The article was very informative however I had a problem wherein someone use to call up my daughter and each time he was using a different number. Due to this one never knows who is calling. This may be a guy working in some call center and having access to various nos. I instructed my daughter to only answer calls from friends whose nos are stored in phone book. Once or twice i picked up the call instead of my daughter and when he enquired about her I told him to give his name and will ask her to get back when she comes home. After this the calls stopped coming.
yes I had the experience of being scolded by some one in the land line in which I have no colour ID.so also in the mobil.I had to reciprocate in the same voulgarity as the other side behaved to whom I do not know atall.This is nothing but only loss of energy and mental peace.better not to react saying wrong no.
On a recent trip to India, I re-charged and used a spare cell phone that belonged to a friend. I was surprised at the number of marketing and automated calls I received over the cell phone. Because I was on a short trip and expected many important calls, these useless calls really messed up my time and patience. Some of the calls even started with a woman's voice declaring that she was a pretty one and feeling lonely! It is amazing that people can be bothered to no end on the phone like this and also have to foot the bill for it!

Forgot to mention the SMS messages: I would receive about 30 bogus messages each day! What a nuisance! Legitimate messages used to get lost in the deluge of spam SMS messages.
Why bother Just tell him to hold on a minute and leave the phone on the table. His bill will keep increasing and do this every time. Never disconnect without pushing the green button. Atleast he will waste his money and get tired after sometim
the problem of bussiness promotion calls are becoming a major nusance for me .they keep calling for Bank Loans,auto loans, credit cards, personal loans,new brand launching etc. the worst offenders are kotak finance,icici pru,sbi card,sbi life,reliance life and many more. since they keep changing the number ,i can not reject them also.it costs me a lot to answer since i stay out of my home town for about 8-9 months in a year. can any one suggest a remedy? i am ready to even strangle that voice if i can lay my hands on them , BSNL / MTNL/ SERVICE PROVIDERS are of NO HELP.
