he is one of the good being south indian.
90% of northy IAS are corrupt, unprofessional & arrogant. As bad as any politician.
These politician & IAS officers are major looters of this country. In north, most of idiots prepare for IAS with only one ambition- to take bribe & become rich thru short cut.

Dude..its not about which part of India u r from..it is about which kind of person u r. I admit that In north India..a lot of people try very hard for IAS as they consider it to be the shortcut of success and a profuse life, but that does not prove anything..It is just about being a person of values..from where ever u belong.
And ya..having said it..I am a north Indian(from UP.

Very inspiring
by s on Apr 13, 2010 01:35 PM  | Hide replies

I am truly inspired by Karthik. Way to go.

I would love to have joined IAS and given a try for it. But the preparation process and all the different subject requirements put me off. Why is all that necessary?

well what Mr. Karthik has done is not surprising at all.Well IAS is top service and is ahead of all, be it going abroad or anything. Power, money everything is there.Only cricketers, filmstars and big politicains are ahead of a IAS officer. So everyone will go with IAS....what u ppl say??

One karnataka guy after topping in IPS choose Bihar as posting.
After 2 yrs, he left his job & now working with MNC in Banglore.
IAS/IPS is not for honest, professional & good people.
Only corrupt northy can enjoy this.

As IAS/IPS, they can not chose their postings; govt posts them in Cadres. ie Bihar Cadre, Orissa Cadre etc

Hats off to you Karthik !!!

I wish our country had few more like this man.
You have set an example for thousands of those who flee to US and Europe after getting a degree just for making some quick money.

Wish you all the best Karthik !
