It is better to lose your egos to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of ego.

Ya but at times even this doesn't work because you can sacrifice your ego to some extent but not to the extent of losing your own identity and this exists on both sides. Then its best to dissolve

Also it is not respecting of certain aspects of the other person like family, peaceful co-existance, not coming to the expectations , failing to honour a pre-marriage proposal and after marriage proposal, having harsh and dirty tongue, disrespecting family members of spouse and expecting to support other family members in your in-laws house. Expecting them to happen by default and not understand the system of the house. How can you change one person or one house approach when you can't change nothing in this world without losing your self and then winning in the end. People lose so many years in all this this. Sad this is.

It is not ego which matters rather it is the breach of trust and loyalty for your partner.
