The main issue that we face India is because these literates who themselves are yet to learn enough to teach others. Unlike the developed countries, we lack perfection in anything that we do.Nobody is happy with our existing education system but will do nothing to change it. We have encouraged it to become big lucrative industry like medical.

to be a bus conductor is not bad, but its a question about our education system, in India you can find grduate and post graduate in bulk but atleast 70% not having enough knowledge. You can look in USA or Europe even in east Asia....graduation means something good here not like india...every third person is graduate...

Its very good for those who didn't and couldn't study much.
But after doing a graduation spending your parents money, try to do some vocational courses to satisy the very purpose of the gradiuation that you did.
Don't take out the job opportunities of others those who did that little education to get a chance of becoming a bus conductor.
It is good that lot is being atleast talked about IMPROVING EDUCATIONS SYSTEM . Few Points : 1) emphasis to national language to bring uniformity. Esp incentives and care for Non-hindi speaking states to adopt it. ( just a view point. Not promoting OR demoting any other language). 2) Better Pay Package in education system , so much so that bright candidates can consider Teaching as a career ( NOT PART TIME or TUTIONS ). CLEAR and STRICT Grading system to distinguish such learned professionals.
This grim state of affair of our upcoming youth in educational front is due to:
* Unprecedented corruption prevailing in our system (mostly by ministers, politicians, regulators and babus). * We have unprecedented number of unscrupulous businessmen, doing all sort of corrupt practices hand-in-glove with various ministers / politicians / regulators / babus, for their financial benefits in shortest possible time. * These are happening just because we have defunct system of judicial procedure, where on paper shows off their integrity but all outdated attitude in actuality. * Above all, our present system / attitude do not want to overhaul these ugly practices.
We unnecessarily blame financial condition for our misdeed. Our attitude should be blamed.
Unfortunately , bright people and people with experience don't take up teaching as career. Unemployed youths have become faculties for compueter science, electronics and management. Where to Blame ? Education had become the most corrupt in India and except IITs and IIMs and few established institutes, none have qualified teachers. Then why do we blame students alone ?
Once late Shri V.K. Krishna Menon (Ex Defence Minister of India) had said ' in India many are graduated but only few are educated. and ‘ India is not a poor country but a country full of men with poor thinking”.
In the present education system which we inherited from British hardly gives knowledge about practical problem solving and training in technologies to tackle the problems the country faces. A mechanical Engineer if his motor cycle or car breaks down, he won’t even think of attempting to identify the problem but quickly turns to a Motor Mechanic. So will be the case of an Electrical Engineer when he is faced with the problem in a Refrigerator. On the other hand I found German Engineers are well trained in tackling the problems. In the Undergraduate Engineering Study(B.E/B.Tech) the Project work is only for 2 months. What can one learn in 2 months when about 25 days go as Sundays and Saturdays besides Holidays like Sankranthi? In our school days we used to have a Craft Class, moral class etc., when we were given training in carpentry, weaving etc.,
It is time in the Education System both at School level and College level pracrtical training in different trades is imparted which will help the students to help to face real problems in their daily life in their later life. In Germany there are OCCUPATIONAL PROMOTION CENTRES where one can learn and work voluntarily in trades like Electronics, Computers et

Nice feedback. I can see a poor thinker's comment on it too. :)
