Hai Rishi, What is your goal to serve as a politician after completion of your studies? Is it not controversy that a one side you want to join in the IIT and also you want to join in the politics? Because politics is totally a matter of constitution and IIT a matter of huge package job which is not initially in the politics? How can u overcome it?

Congratulating the topper I would like to comment on many toppers misleading other students about not to study hard, study smart. If students get good results without working hard and smart, then they must be girl friends or kept women of some characterless Indian Cricket Plyers
Congratulating the topper, I would like to add-on to the toppers not to mislead other students with phrases such as Study Smart and not Study Hard. If any student has to get good result without studying hard and being smart, then the students must be girl friends of Indian Cricket players
Great going , Man. Keep it up. Your fundas and philosophy in life is perfect. Just keep the focus on and you will be definitely the guy to reckon with some day. Congrats again for your great spirit and grit. Naveen

His mother died when the exams were underway. Still then he not only passed with good marks but also topped. Thats rather more strange than amazing. Its evident his mother's death didn't had any effect on his mind. That too a mother who literally used to study for them. There is something to understand here. The portion of the brain responsible for qualities reqiured to be a good scholar ( like good memory etc.) is more developed. As a result other areas of brain like understanding emotions, pain, joy etc are very poor. No wonder he didn't feel the pain at his mother's demise. Such persons are eccentric. Infact all geniuses are. Remember, Sachin Tendulkar. He hit a century in the match just after the day his father died. They will definitely be less successful in their human relations. Infact their mind is more like that of a robot. They don't need relations. I don't think I wish to be like him. Being human with all its associated joys and sorrows is more blissful than being a robot.

Cancer is long-term illness....so the boy fully understood and accepted mother's demise. We don't know if Mother's demise didn't make any difference to him. So before passing judgement, we need to ask him about his emotions and love for mother.

I think your logic is absolutely wrong. Just because somebody scores well in an exam in spite of his mother's demise doesnt mean that he was not affected by the incident. He had the mental grit to subdue his emotions and do a good job for which his mother would have been the happies tperson had she been alive. It needs some will power and grit to do what he ahs done. Your kind of "weak mentality" people have no idea what that means. So please dont make such stupid assumptions and further beliitle your self.

Hey! That's the most awful thing to say..i mean yours is clearly a case of sour grapes here. There is no need to interpret this in such a negative way. Maybe the death of his mother inspired him to do better as it could have been something she would have wanted him to do..maybe he did it for her..maybe he was able to look through his grief to do this for his mother. The same can be said, i'm sure of Sachin's century.. Anyway, heartiest congrats to Rishi!

Buddy, Sometimes tragedies like parents death can motivate to do better. Sachin did that 100 for his dad.. Parents if alive would want the kids to do well.. and this guy and Sachin doing well means they really understand what parents want. You can go and start your pity party.. but life has to go on. I will suggest you to go and read Gita to learn more about death and sorrow.
