Azad's unthoughtful proposal?
by din kot on Jul 15, 2009 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

1)Sexual arousal or the lack of it will depend on the programme u watch.
2)If birth control measures/precautions are taken, Sex doesn't mean growth in population.
3)Love making/sex is also a sacred expression of love between 2 individuals & it should not have been linked to TV by the minister.
4)The minister should try to improve his thinking & moral standards instead of joking on such serious issues.

Sounds funny

The honourable minister is surely joking if he thinks that he can control married couples like he does his own children.
Or maybe he wants to increase the TRP ratings of most serials whose crybaby themes can easily make couples switch them off.
Sirji, we need better ideas than this for birth control.

TV for socially backward rigions
by Pandurang Patil on Jul 15, 2009 11:13 AM

Basically minister is talking about the remote illiterate rigion. TV is the best media to convey the birth control methods. Also it helps to show videos/ movies detailing adverse effects of having more number of kids to these uneducated, socially backward and staying far in remote region people.

Population Explosion

Minister's advise is one of the way to tackle this menacing problem. Don't go for the words but go with spirit. Mr. Azad should be lauded for taking up this most important problem faced by India. I don't remember any past minister discussing this issue in public. In my view it is far more serious than terrorism.

I think this is serious matter and the statement is non seriuos , this is a topic which requires a lot of discussions and debate , to stop increasing population in our country we have to work on ground level which requires education, improvement in mental status of all the countryperson so that they should think themselves that what losses occurs due to high population in this country, seriuos efforts are required to control the population , educative programs for family planning required .
