yeah, def some more universities are needed. they should locate them in some good areas with good climate. in oztralia , even the small towns look good. so they can put a uni anywhere and it will be success.not so , in india. so locations must be carefully selected and well-provided for.
one of things I have seeen is the presence of these big supermarket chains. they are everywhere and they create the good life around them.ie, making shopping very easy. all the towns in oz have these supermarkets ( i know it is to detriment of small traders but it does make life so much easier for consumer)

though a point is that in oz cities, a student can earn quite a bit while studying. i hear many are paying their tuition fees and accomodation etc by themselves. this is not possible in india. but i can tell you uni education for me was as good in bangalore as anywhere. it was fab.(though I am not a serious student..maybe the serious types prefer the foreign unis)
only strongest, fittested and selfish life should survive the world, but than what the heck your doing in Congress??? they believe in secularism which is against that principal, or its just you show its the shortcut to get that power to convert India into western like culture? sure you cant survive in India, but we have got values, the outer part looks dirty, thats fine we are still happier than your westerners.

you read it incomplete, it was their for others now, they removed the disparity between MP and Ministers. MP were already burning our back for years. Hindi, Punjab Gujrat Bengali-all regional languages should be medium of instruction for more than 115 Crore people and rightly not English as in Japan. China,France Germany Hollnd and other small contries.

Ha ha ha... all the people, who are chattering against english...forgot the fact they typed this in english. English is a language, a platform to communicate. People do respect ancient languages, but what is easier and accepted across the world is also to be learnt as a matter to evolve and compete in this unjust world. So dont frown for your own language and lose the race. But dont forget the mother language's respect that it asks for always !

wat are u talking about? ur way of thinking is a long gone ideology. it doesn't matter whether the mode of communication is english or hindi or french or japanese. what we need to do is make sure that our professionals can speak the language(s) that are prevalent in developed countries, so that we can go there, learnn, and implement here. it is quite clear that we have failed to develop ourselves in anyway. it is the lack of fwd thinking individuals (like urself) who are unable to think beyond patriotism and the hindu gods and muslim allah. we need to remember that things that make science possible are sharing of ideas, and expanding on knowledge that has already been gathered (and in this case the knowledge is with the west) and not by sitting in temples/churches/mosques/gurudwaras or any 'house of god'. get with the program man...

you might have forget; our country is NOT at all a single country first; its a combination of more than 600 small kingdoms; 1947/08/15 brought all these small kingdoms to form a country called "India". In fact, there is NO integrity among us even now as we are fighting with each other state in the name of religion, region, caste,community, language, etc. So, pls dont talk about Hindi as a common language for all over the country. Please check with our Constitution which gives equality for 14 languages. English is the common link between all the states. You are asking to remove English usage means, you are going backward in this 'hi-tech' era. When it comes to protecting language and culture, our neighbour China is much much better than India; we need to learn from them on how to protect our language and culture without giving up English.

Sir i am perfectly ok with it .. south indians can have a separate country as the love english, and have have a capital for themselves and invite ppl from west in their home land .. i have never been to south and never plan to visit as i have seen the north dislike there .. north is more sanskritik and south is more dravidian .. i understand that difference .. but please spare north of this english education .. south loves english please speak .. we dont stop you .. you can invite the whities to you drvidian country .. also hindi is the secont largest spoken language spoken by ppl after mandarin .. south indians may love english .. but i will learn frencg, german or russian .. as southies can worship there english demi gods and invite them there ..

Yes, dude, why don't we create a separate rashtra for you altogether on a few sq feet of land? You can name it as you like. You can be the lonely citizen and the President...Set your own constitution in your own preferred language...Write language in your local dialect...And do whatever you want... But, please save us your nonsensical sermons. You will never ever understand economical cooperation, progress or any of the connected blahs. You will never realize the only reason India is able to earn any revenue from IT is coz Chinese know no English. Why don't we just create a rashtra for you where you are the only citizen, the President and the one and all? You could have your kingdom set on few sq. m. of land..
