He should learn this from his seniors like respected Sharad Pawar ji, our honorable Agriculture Minister of India, who holds position in cricket as well, being of bad health and holding a very sensitive ministerial cabinet in union govt.

who is continuouly giving his best in rising price high money through his companies which are exporting food, dry milk etc.
Well formed mind doesn't means spineless leadership, no consensus is there in present leadership on any macro problem, which means betrayal of electoral verdict of the people.

I think a well formed mind (apart from being free of hatred, intolerance, jealousy & prejudice) should mean creative, analytical and thoughtful brain - what the physiologists term a well-developed right hemisphere of the brain. Physiologists also put 'amygdala' as the critical part of brain responsible for functions as equipoise, emotion, balanced behavior which go to constitute a well formed mind.

No...analytical ability is not the right brain...it has got to do more with left brain. Logic, maths, analysis etc - Left. Intuition, creativity, talking etc - Right And a brain is always thoughtful...either with good thoughts or with bad. And if all people in the world have well formed minds like you and shashi tharoor is promoting all creativity will go out of this world. There has to be brains just for the sake of having brains...free to think, create. Most of the creative people did not have balanced behavioural patterns...including the scientists too.

1.The words "creative, analytical and thoughtful" were used in the context of defining the well formed brain (overall) for which the right hemisphere has the chief role (frontal lobe part in particular). "Analytical" does not just connote empirical analysis (role of left) but "experiential, observatory, practical" - which are guided by the right hemisphere. 2. The word "thoughtful" refers to positive, constructive, beneficial & creative thoughts and not negative thoughts in which case the word 'negative' shall precede thoughtful for sure. 3. Brains are not "just for the sake of having brains...free to think and create" but more than that "to regulate all organs and functions of the body in the absence of which life will not exist. One may exist without thinking, without being creative but certainly not without life.(e.g. mentally disabled individuals) 4. All creative people need not exhibit 'balanced behavioral patterns'(agreed), BUT not all those without 'balanced behavioral patterns' become creative. 5. I began my observations with the cautious words "I think" only in the context of defining a well formed mind, and not to engage in supporting or negating the points brought out in the article. Hence my reference to "physiologists", for credibility and authority in my reply.

thanks but I feel there is more to it. From your description it seems the mind is only pure. How about a all round developed mind?

A WELL FORMED MIND IS ACT FOR MINORITY LIKE JOSE AND JOHNY FROM KERLA WITHOUT SPINE FOR VOTE BANK?
My Ass is better informed than Tharoor who joined the vilest of political parties in the history of India. Never did a single political entity damage the numbers of people that Congress managed to. Their most recent Political Exploit in the south is messing up Andhra Pradesh.
