only one example buddy... we want many more institutes than that of Birla Mandirs....
I AGREE IN IDIA RURAL EDUCATION SYSTEM IS VERY POOR, TEMPLES HAVE LOTS OF FOOD AND FUNDS TO SERVE THE PILGRIMS BUT AT RURAL AREAS CHILDREN FIND MID-DAY MEAL DIFFICULT EVEN IF THEY GET LITTLE BY THE GOVT WITHOUT PROPER HYGIENE EUDCATION INFRASTRUCTURE IS POOR, SALARY FOR THE TEACHERS ALSO POOR,WITH LOT OF STRENGH

you are right! who will become computer teacher for the rural people to teach for lower class just for Rs.3000 ?
Tejpal is wrong.I know many schools built by individuals and taken over by govt to promote reservation and loot of land and resources of schools. These good schools now have become like other govt schools devoid of their glorious past. So people will no more build schools but temples and private trusts.

Not all true, private schools build by anyone, get funds from GOI...The teachers are paid with TAXpayers money. The reservations is by the way a societal thing. If there is no discrimination then there would be no reservations, both for backward classes and womens..

The school I studied, called CASIC, which was spread over 100 acres of land and was built by a philantropist, Seth Changamal and provided education to 5000 rural students. I am surprised you have doubts about this.

anuj is right, it is nt understood why gov r nt able 2 make education a fundamntl right...
Govt collects something called Education Cess if Mr Tejpal does not know, most of the people who pay education cess are the people who never see the benefit of that to their families itself. All the Education Cess goes to govt fund which is supposed to take care of such pathetic state of our Govt schools and infrastructre. Also Fee from students are collected. Why Mr Tespal is talking about rich in this country. What is his personal contribution to education system? Tehelka?
