I actually wondered about it . Even if you take an average life of just 1 day for each species, it means a total of 23000 years for one cycle of 84 lakh yonis. Assuming there is no randomness in God's choosing, on an average, a human being now should have been human being thousands of years ago only... and the population estimates of that time does not support that. Also, most of these shows or talks of rebirth , talks of at most 100-150 year back, they were human being!! God must be crazy, no, giving rebirth to human species so often in human species itself! and remember, I speak of 1 day per life... most species live for years.. so do your calculation... may be I was on this earth at the time of Big Bang...!

You take birth based on the qualities you possess and not based on an algorithm. A housefly lives for just about 16 - 30 days and a human being lives for about 60 - 100 years and so the proportions are different.
And if you go by scientific data the earth came into existence about about 4.5 billion years and who told you with some solid proof that there were no human beings about say a million years ago.
And moreover, all the carbon data comes with an aberration of about /- 1500 years and moreover it is not valid to analyze data which possibly would be more than a million years. And so the Scientists all over came with a different standard - the URANIUM dating. Using this technique our Ramsethu is about 1.7 million year old. And it a man-made structure and not a natural one.
Anyways .......... you need analytical capabilities to read between lines, see through mind and go beyond technology. We need to get basics of epistemological aspects before we enter into such discussions.
regarding past life its true ,,,As far I know ''heegu unte'' is a 1 st kanada serial that came up with this concept..there is a hypnothist in Bangalore who dose work on past life therapy with adequate proof to prove his theory..as the camramen had gone to the places where the person use to stay in his/her previous life that thall all true ...!

Clincal psychologists will use all type therapies to save the life of people who are suffering Depression.But these psychologists are using them for making money and publicity.Health ministry must ban such Reality shows which sells the field of Medicine as consumer goods.

GOD! maintaining this life's problems is a headache. think about the problems you would have to face if you knew last birth's.
all this scraps are mony making strategy of ND TV imagine. i think they instead of going through this therapy. one should read GITA SAAR its a solution of all problem. there is no rebirth concept because if rebirth is true then total no. of lives would have been constant. what every you do you have to pay in this life only. - = 0

sorry mr rajukumar.if you are reffering Gita then u are contradicting it by saying that there is no rebirth.i suggest u read the GITA under enligtened guru.

I hear that Vipassana does something like this. It makes you realize your past and drops your past tendencies. It is supposed to relieve you from many problems. This is based on my personal interview with a few people who have attended the camps. I haven't done that myself. For some reason people from Mongolia have clung on to it. Of late I keep hearing a lot about past life's mistakes.

This so called Dr. Newton is a desciple of one Mr. Patri, who actually learnt vipassana and given it a new name under his brand.

Hypnosis works on people who are predisposed to Hypnosis. Regression of past life is a myth. Once you hypnotize it is like one is on drugs. Rest is illusion.
