Mr. Man you pls try to conceive first ..bear for 9 months and then give birth to a new life even if it risks your own...then speak about what women should do with their own body..Sex selective abortions should also be allowed so that unwanted girls are not born to be abused for life by insane parents.

Yes agreed; but not for the reasons you have said; in fact in many western countries where catholism was predominent, untill recently, abortion was illegal. This has caused a change and there is no stigma attached to unwed mothers in all over the world except in India. The ease with which people abort foetus in India is chilling. there is absolute disregard for mental and physical health of woman. with all these advertisement for contraceptives and I pills, women are causing damage to their bodies. After all these pills are hormones and these cause untold damage including permanent infertility on long term use. Gynaecs also advocate these pills as this lesser of two evils ie abortion. Repeated abortions also cause harm; harmone pills cause tumours/fibroids. Abstinence till marriage is to be strongly advocated; but no body seem to bother.

Mr Kumar, No objection to ur view but circumstances has to b given some value..b in a place of a unwed mother/widow.. will u continue the pregnancy.. i m sure the answer vll b a big no..indian society n culture is not yet ready to except such situations..vll it b better option that the pregnant lady attempt suicide or go in isolation or get to bear the toture the society lay on her or is it better to abort..abortion is not a murder bcs the embryo or foetus by then is not viable.. it has no seperate existance.. n hence cannot b considered a murder under any circumstances..neither medically nor legally... -Dr maheshwari
