fake resumes
by vidyasagar velpula on Jul 23, 2008 05:34 PM

Don't be too smart guys. Actually, in s/w industry around 30% are from AP only. So, they are very genious because with the fake experience also they are doing excellent work. Even TCS, IBM, Wipro...any company..they are faking the resumes with their clients to get max. billing and max profits. Even the company knows abt a candidate whether he is a fake exp or not. But, still they have continued with those guys. And now they are targeting the people bcoz IT market is down. Beware with the company's guys.

Hi
Any boady is think on that topic why it is happening? As per my view, It is just becasuse of now a days fast community is developed. Experence is achived through hard work and devotation towards work. Now very few people have time for all that. Todaysy softwaire life.

What about emplyers????

Many a times you leave your company and your boss gets so angry that he does not give you your balance dues, relieving letter, experience certificate etc. I have not received these things from my earlier employers even after giving the agreed 30 days notice & proper handing over of the work. Can any one do a survey on "How many employers do not provide all dues & documents to leaving employees?" and let me know the facts.

HR

I am not sure how HR community is taking such fake claims by FADV - a Chinese company so lightly. This whole thing seems to be a sham to me. HR community should boycott such companies for faking figures - audit them and crucify them!

The title itself is wrong. The very fact that the percentage of fudged CVs increased year on year testifies to the profit potential here. 30% of 2 million is 600000 and since the IT guys are hiring 150000 every year the same proportion would point to 45000 bogus CVs among the employed. A 100 in infosys and 20 in TCS does not even touch the fringes. Guys and Gals go ahead and fudge to your heart's content. If that is what is required to gain an entry into your dream job who is to say the method is wrong. If the majority of the fudged CV guys/gals are performing satisfactory then, the whole concept of asking for a CV rather than, testing the potential employee's capability is wrong.

bulshit, IF ANY EMPLOYEES PERFORMING WELL THAN THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY CROSS INQUIRY FOR HIS CV. IN THIS WAY COMPANY WOULD BE THE LOOSER. THEY SHOULD SCRUTINIZE ONLY THE CV FOR UNDER PERFORMER. BY THE WAY WHAT THE HELL INTERVIEWER WAS DOING. WHY HE SELECT THE CANDIDATES BASED ON CV'S ONLY. PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEWERS JUST INTERVIEW BY EYE TO EYE CONTACTS.

FADV

I used to work for this crappy organisation called FADV. And how crap it is is demonstrated by this story which is full of fake figures. FADV at its peak used to do 20,000 resumes per month so not sure how it became 2 million per annum. Also we used to do 3-5% fake so dont know how it became 30%. I think such public claims should be audited by an independent body or else this is sure to become another scam. Isnt this faking numbers by the so called custodian of background screening companies?

So you are basically saying that the hard work that genuine people put in studying and gaining an education is not of any use and cheats and other who have no educational qualification should deprive them of the job they have worked hard all their lives for. I am sure you are one such person who has not completed his education. Lets see you start an organization and hire uneducated people.

i agree that HCL is a shit company. I too had bad experience.they exploit there employees. secondly all companies in indi want experts and scientists only. even if you re just 25 yrs old they want u must have 10 yr experience. Today i am at top position in europe. Some yrs back honestly i used to ask job in india but the mentality of the people in companies in india is worse.
