Hi all...

Stop this stupid comparison... Will you consume 1 litre of dettol or corex syrup at one day.. Its not comparable with the 1 litre of petrol or diesel as it depends on the needs. Dont do this foolish comparison and publish this on the site

In Andhra Pradesh some districts have villages where only flourinated water is available. This makes children permanenttly disabled. But in these villages liquor is cheap.

I agree with your views. The adulteration of cooking oil will start immediately and many lives will be lost. The living will develop liver and kidney problems due to aulteration of cooking oil with engine oil and other kinds of oils. Who is there to investigate? For a common man it is a costly affair to get the analysis of oils done whch requires many good instruments. The road end fried munching materials like Bhajjias and sev are more than 120 to 140 rupees a kilo. FM will not bother because it is the people who are suffering and not the politicians.

High sounding rates of liquids
by Rajendra Nayak on Apr 04, 2008 08:23 PM  | Hide replies

Some of the liquids that are quoted are never used by even upper middle class leave alone the lower middle class and havenots.
Yes inflation is there and it is going to stay because agriculture production has gone for a tailspin through out the globe due to unseasonal weather conditions. It is raining anytime in India which was never experiencd before. At many places it is raining throughout the year leading to destruction of dried cereals which get infested by fungi.
So have sheets to protect the crops from unseasonal rains or induce water proof coverings on seeds by introducing 'genes'into bitechnologically developed crops. Then rains will not cause fungal infestations. Water harvesting should be carried out at each and every corner of the country like saving crude oil underground. Imagine water is crude oil and then save water. Water will be a very expensive commodity in the future. But these are all a part of life wherein animals and plants have died in millions in the last 1000 years. The cycle repeats in nature where animals have been wiped out from the surface of the earth. Mankind will also face the problems of water scarcity for which migrations had occured.
The only one point policy of the government should have is to inculcate the habit of conserving the water, harvest the available water and reduce water pollution.

Governememt is doing nothing to control inflation. Thanks to policies of Mr.Chidambram and Mr.Manmohan.The slogan of this Governemnt aam aadmi ki Sarkar is ridiculous.

Mr Finanace Minister should now wake up and should take some reasonable steps to control the infaltion.

Evian water 500 ml Rs 330 = Rs 660 per liter ...

Is this true? Hard to believe that anyone will buy half a litre of water for Rs. 330.

Our finance misister is a true politician, when the stocks markets crashed he said india is not depending on global markets and we are strong, but when the inflation is rising he said it is according to the global trend, as always they are not worried about the common man and if we ask about prices he will explanation in figures which are totally irrelevant to common man
