What type of comparisons is our friend trying to make. Just making a volume to volume comparison does not show the exact picture. No body will consume 1 liter of ink or Old Spice or so to say any of the items mentioned other then water and to some extend Coca-cola per day. But 1 liter of petrol in a car can give a maximum of only 15-17 Kms which people cover in less the 10-20 minutes.
I request Rediff team to kindly evaluate the articles before publishing them. It is a waste of time reading such articles.

Because for your information in those countries it is common to see water being more expansive that coke. Oh by the way you forgot to mention the price of the following : toor dal, arher dal, coconut oil, sesame oil, lifebuoy soap, dabur lal dantmanchan..... get the drift ??
