dear sir,
i am a student in IAM kolkata nad our colege is affiliated with thames valley university in london and we have option to cpmplete 3rd nd 4rth year from there. My visa had been rejected 2 times earlier and i have applied the third time on 9th september. My joining date in the university was 21st septmber, and that letter for joinig was in email. Till date i have nt received my visa and only 2 days remain to joing my college, i m still waiting for it, what i wanted to ask is will they have any issue that my joining date has paased and not issue me the visa this time again, because only 2 days remain.
even though my visa had been rejected on financial document and i was being sponsored from my father company the entire course and accomodation fees. This time i also attached the BANK STATEMENT, BALANCE SHEET, LETTER EXPLAING THE NEED TO SPONSOR ME FOR THE PUPOSE OF VISA. is there anything more needed to show to get the visa this time or this document is enough for the pupose.
thanking you, please reply as soon as possible because i was wooried and also there is no time, i knew about this site today.

Regarding SEGS
by on May 11, 2007 02:57 PM

Hello sir,
Actually i had completed Msc(computer and network engineering) course from SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY which is in SHEFFIELD in UK, IN JUNE 2006. I had received my university certificates in september 2006 and in october 2006, i had applied for HSMP and my limited leave to remain in UK(VISA) was going to expire on 30 november 2006. As my visa was going to expire on 30 november 2006, i had submitted my passport to IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY DIRECTORATE(HOME OFFICE) in the last week of november 2006. On 24 january 2007, i had received HSMP rejection letter, i had immediately contacted home office in CROYDON, LIVERPOOL, BIRMINGHAM AND EDINGBURGH. They told me that i cant apply for segs as my visa is expired in person but told me that i can post my application for segs. As they said i had posted my application for segs from my university with my university head permission, and i explained them about what has happened. On 5 march 2007, my application for segs was rejected and they said me to go to india. My university head said to that as iam in one year period for segs i can apply it in india. But my application for segs in india was also rejected saying that i havent submitted the proof that i had applied for HSMP in UK. I made a new application in may 2007 with the proof from home office saying that i had applied for HSMP when i was in UK and that application was also rejected saying that "I accept you made in-country HSMP application with Home Office whilst your visa was valid, but you did not have valid leave to remain in UK when you had applied for SEGS. You have not been granted leave to remain in UK in accordance with paragraphs 128-135H or 200-210H of the immigration rules Please help me sir.

job prospects in UK after getting a UK degree
by santino on Sep 05, 2006 10:21 PM

hello everybody,
well i have gone through all your posts and i have seen a striking resemblence to my situation , i personally feel the best option is get a UK degree and go back to India because India is one of the emerging superpowers in the next 5 or 6 yrs and trust me UK is a good place to visit as a tourist but if you are planning to find a job here it is all Alice in wonderland sort of thing coz all UK employers prefer UK and EU citizens first and as a student u can never find a good job unless your ststus is changed to work permit holder and that is not everyone's cup of tea as to find an employer who will be willing to apply for your work permit , mostly you will get a reply "thanks for applying , but your current status as a student hinders your applicatio to be processed further , when your status changes do let us know we will be glad to contact you" but still there is no assurance that they will employ you , so open your minds all you crazy people like me who run after UK degrees , you are far better off in India with a good lifestyle rather than working here part time as a salesman or whatever low life job, support India. jai hind.
