Hi,

I would like to know what is the difference between a call center and a BPO?

If all there is a difference what it is. how do the BPOs work?

A call center provides customer service through telephones while a BPO is a much broader term. BPO is outsourcing of any work/process of a company to a third party vendor. It can include many things like accounting, IT, medical transcription etc.

Hi friends,
I am a commerce graduate with 3.5yrs exp and also have had a fair bit of computer experience. I tried to complete my PG by post but did not succeed...can you tell me the scope i have in the BPO industry? I avoided joining a call centre early in my career, now i want to search for opportunities in the BPO sector.please help..
