With rowdies like Alagiri as ministers, what performance are u talking about? It is a cabinet of Families [the most obnoxious is the Karunanidhi extended family]

Just grow up Sachin, it is a politically motivated ministry. The only difference is that oldies have been thrown and new guys have been brought in. But who are these new guys, those who have good political lineage.
And let me tell you, BJP is not finished it will come once again like a SPHINX

Grow up sachin. use some mind and do some google before you comment. I do not dounbt on competancy of some of teh ministers, but many of them are within a circle f doubts. Heve you ever seen SM Krishna's thoughts on foregn policy.Do you think he can wisely handel China and Pakistan. Do you think Chddambamram can handle the situation very well. I do not doubt about Jairam Ramesh, Shashi Tharoor, A. Sangamma, and many more but what about Azagiri, A. Raja, Mamta, Farook Abdulla etc.

i have a simple doubt in my mind,
if an election comm. takes up the job of a minister in the parliament which was elected by the election supervised by him after retirement how can i believe he was impartial and did not had retirement plan in his mind when soing his duties as election comm.
i know that indian election are fair but still dont they should rfrain from taking up ministers job at least 5 year after they put in their paper?

It is a mystery how an Electronic voting machine can give different results on recounting. Simply a mystery. Does a computer give different results on running the same program?

U can always legitimately programme a PC's key to do /show what u want. That is called encoding. It takes a high degree of collusion to do such things on a mass scale to rig elections. But who knows...? That is the doubt of Ramadoss and Jaya.

PERFORM OR PERISH
by abboral boral on May 28, 2009 07:10 PM  | Hide replies

Soniaji is giving the correct advise which no leaders so far openly told to any Gov last 60 years . In any qualition Gov ,a lot oppositions comes in to force to balance the powers of the majority stake holders of the party .Congress should have now learned from opposition of left from previous UPA Gov .Previous Gov was so much fractured that even snizing by left could feared by Congress .The condition of present Gov is not the same situation but still I believe there must be some kind of opposition for any blind decession the majority stake holder may take on the behest of vested interest circle for their selfish gain .Though Dr MMS on the helm of supreme power and we can trust blindly but he is also sorrounded by plenty of vested interest circle with in his own cilcle who works very silently with out having being noticed at all .People has given mandate for performance to Congress led UPA .If they fail and talk all nonsense that we cannot work magic with in 100 days then they should have told before elections otherwise people will throw them before 100 days .UPA must deliver as fast as possible to get the confidence of people
1. Make emediate impact by funding rural India by appointing 3 ministers for rural India developments and let them concentrate iwthout any delay
2. Pass the budget as fast as possible or make some vote on a/c

So PERFORM OR PERISH

Defeat of BJP is defeat of Nation
by vijaya kumar on May 28, 2009 07:04 PM  | Hide replies

Defeat of BJP is defeat of Nation and victory of congress is victory of antinationalists.
-Pakistan & ISI are happy with the victory of Congress as they want a weak govt. in India to deal with
-Muslim fundamenalist groups like simi, imm, taliban etc.are happy with the congress victory
-Christian fundamenalist groups who want to convert Indian people to christanity are happy with the congress victory. They can easily continue conversion.
-Crorepatis and other high Income group are happy with the victory of congress as they can make more money.
-Higher Income Group of Minorities are happy with the victory of Congress.

dear ravi above said segment are part of nation but not the entire nation so there is a possibilty that they are happy but many in nation might not be, may i ask you whats wrong with varun gandhi? he is just another polititian who want to garner vote by talking rubbish just like AP congress chief or late rajiv gandhi who once said anout sikh riots of 1984 "jab bada pedh(indira gandhi) girata hai to dharati hilati hi hai aur kuchh nuksaan bhi hota hai"
they are all same so why single out varun?

For your information, as per a recent study, Pakis/talibani/LET men prefer a BJP government in India and not a Congress govt. Update your knowledge.

Yes you are right Mr. Mark Twain. In the next election the Indian Union Muslim League will be the single largest party and the Congress will be the second largest party. Than Taliban will come and decide who should be the P.M. of India. And true Islamic nation will emerge in the world map. Hindus were ghulams and will be again become ghulam. Happy Mr. Twain. Think of your self where will you be? You will convert to Isalm or flee to your country.

Cabinet : Extension of dynastic rule
by vijaya kumar on May 28, 2009 06:56 PM  | Hide replies

Congress and the media may project cabinet as a mix of experience & youth but in real fact it is extension of the dynasic rule by the congress, just have a look at the so called young brigade, they all are sons and daughters of the ex ministers or ex cheif ministers. Further all congress loyalists whether they are in civil services or in politics, they are rewarded with ministerial berths. It is just an eye wash by the congress and their freinds in media to project congress as party with ethics and concern for youth. No consideration is given to capability. JAI HO CONGRESS AUR ENGLISH MEDIA. As an Indian I am not worried who gets cabinet berths but are we in safe hands, whether we are safe with inaction towards the terrorists and their masters, appeasment policies and corruption at all levels.
