Candidature matters
by murali pvr on May 28, 2009 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

It is pathetic to see PM-Sonia duo is bowing down to everyone and Inducting Raja, Deshmukh like candidates into Jumbo Cabinet..
How can one expect Govt can function effeciently with these type of candidates..

I fail to understand how people of India consider the PM Mr MMS an honest man.Everybody knows how he managed to continue in office after Left withdrawal. All know very hoe he managed last 5 years with 30 corrupt ministers. This time also he has succumbed to the dynasty poltics of parties like corrupt DMK.How he is managing this horsetrading business without money. Only difference may be ,the money collected by him goes to Congress fund/Sonia fund. After all he is the best man in the country to know hoe to manage money.

What the hell these fools have done to karnataka people? Just danced, made money, made many kannadigas lazy people, dancing for language psychphancy. Kannadigas are not fools, they now send their children to English medium schools, make them global citizens of calibre and intellect and contribute to society. If they were to dance for kannada and sit at home, parvathamma and his sons might have made some more money.

AP is Getting Less
by hemanth kanamarlapudi on May 28, 2009 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

Even by sending 33 mps only 5 Ministers.
1 Cabinet, 4 General.
This has a significent effect on bringing new projects and development to the state.
Good Example is Railways and IT/Hardware new ventures

A measure in education
by Pratham on May 28, 2009 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

Every Indian student must be made to study one other Indian language (preferably from a different region) other than his own mother tongue. That will
instill pride in the diversity of India and END such chauvinistic debates.

I fully endorse your views on the subject. In our country, if someone from the north visits the southern states, the language comes in the way of communication and one feels helpless in expression. The new HRD Minister should initiate steps for making one regional language compusory right from the primary enducation. This will go a long way in bridging the gap between the north and the south.

Dear prathan i accord you.i am from delhi and speak hindi and english but i think should know one southern language and every south Indian should know a language from north (Hindi).this way we can come more and more closer and can resolve or eliminate language or any sort of conflicts among us.And ofcourse there will be fast development of India

It is a big burden on children to study many languages and scripts, insteda of learning science and computers.

Only teach English and mother tounge and that too if possible, only in the simple 26 letter english alphabet.

language is a medoium of communication and nothing else. Ultimately, only Ebglish will remain and so better to shift to this successful furmula of comunication, to make our chidren and generations do well and excell in the world community.

It is good to know that this kind of thinking is emerging now-a-days. I am a Tamilian. I know English, Hindi, Malayalam, sanskritn and learning Kannada and Telegu. I made my son to learn Hindi, Sanskrit. He is now learning malayalam, telugu and Kannada also. My prayer to all indian brothers, is -- please make your children know more indian languages than foreign.,like french,German.

I am agree too. We are all one, irrespective of the corner we come from. Though my mother tongue is Kannada, I took great interest in learning Hindi. Recently I started learning Marathi and so educative to know about Maharashtra. Want to learn more about my country. We all should, better than desperately trying to be something we are not, for eg, Ameriki Desi.

Arivnd, only Kannadigas are such broad minded in learning other languages (you are one such true Kannadiga). But, bend to other side .. for eg., fanatic TN. No one knows other than Tamil. These people never feel part of India. They should be forced to learn Hindi, Kannada and other languages.

This broad mentality of Kannadigas has already created havoc for original Bengalooru.

Defeat of BJP is defeat of Nation
by vijaya kumar on May 28, 2009 12:30 PM  | Hide replies

Defeat of BJP is defeat of Nation and victory of congress is victory of antinationalists.
-Pakistan & ISI are happy with the victory of Congress as they want a weak govt. in India to deal with
-Muslim fundamenalist groups like simi, imm, taliban etc.are happy with the congress victory
-Christian fundamenalist groups who want to convert Indian people to christanity are happy with the congress victory. They can easily continue conversion.
-Crorepatis and other high Income group are happy with the victory of congress as they can make more money.
-Higher Income Group of Minorities are happy with the victory of Congress.

Fight till the end
by Magesh Magesh on May 28, 2009 12:16 PM  | Hide replies

People here seems to have urge to fight whatever way possible. First they fight based on their nationality with other countries, then fight based on religion, then based on their language, then caste, their region, etc.,,,,,

Fight between districts, villages to village fight, then fight with neighbors.

Insecure and jobless people always form groups and fight with each other for no reason.

It is clear that there will be no unity left if we form groups based on all possible parameters like nation, religion, region, language, caste, district, village, street, etc.,,,

If we have to fight this we can fight for ever

Stop fighting

Stay united by the single identity INDIAN

I suspect there are FOREIGNERS in this forum to create disharmony by writing hate messages.

Lets be united

This story is trying to give impression that South got Bonannza but the facts are otherwise. AP has got raw deal and so is Karnataka and Kerala. It shows that dont vote for Congress and make Congress depend on you by voting for a party which can bargain with Congress like DMK.

Loksabha Members elected from Andhra Pradesh are unable to speak fluently in Hindi.
As a result, these members are not effectively communicating public issues in the Parliament.

Government of Andhra Pradesh must train their Loksabha Members in speaking fluent Hindi so that their credibility increases among their peers in Parliament.

The indication from High command is "People of AP will vote for Congress and see that other MP donot get a ministerial berth".People will get what they deserve. In the state we are being ruled by GOD and we are getting everything.Super fast trins, express road ways, clean cities, Rs.2/kg super fine rice ext.
