He managed to fool Indians big time in 1992 with his "bloody" rath yatra. Some Indians unfortunately still remain polarized after 16-17 years. That's the sad part. Congress won just because the ant govt vote split by Vijaykanth in TN, Chiru in AP, Rajthacrey in Maha and communists in WB, Keral. BJP yet to develope his base in this area and once it developes its base then it will emerge stornger than any party. Even in Tamilnadu it stood second in couple of constituencies (Kanyakumari & amanathapuram). Future is with BJP.
advani should introspect the reason behind the bjp debacle instead of spewing nonsense.the whole bjp organisation has to be rebuilt with youthful faces and new energy and ideology directing the policies of the party for the good of the nation.

True, Indian people will not believe those who want to wake-up from this slumber, as is evident from the result of this election. I do not know what good congress has done to get this kind of mandate. They have been fighting elections on the plank of 'Garibi Hatao' since early seventies and even today, their manifesto says so. Due to opening up of world economy, every country across the world had a 'feel good factor' during years 2002-2008 and only the recent recession dampen the spirit. For the recession, congress has put up the explanation that it is a world phenomenon and not confined to India alone. B JP as a political party failed to nail congress and that is the reason for their poor show. But any given day, BJP is 100 times better than communal congress.

I am not a supporter of BJP because of its image and communal hatred and I am also not happy with Congress too but I vote congress only because there is no alternative.

Advani is a tall leader who made bipolar politics possible in India checking the selfish Congress which kept the country as it is even being in power for more than 50 years. MMS or Sonia didn't dare to discuss with LKA openly in Television on issues. Congress won just because the anti govt votes were split by Vijaykanth in TN, Chiru in AP, Rajthacrey in Maha and communists in WB, Kerala. BJP yet to develope its base in this states and once it develops its base then it will emerge stronger than any party. In TN, the DMK / MK came to power after 13 years which was kept out of power by MGR / ADMK. After 13 years DMK came back to power. Even in Tamilnadu BJP stood second in couple of constituencies (Kanyakumari & Ramanathapuram). Future is with BJP.
