The fact is that Advani is remembered for all the wrong reasons like Babri Masjid and Kandhar (he again went out of his mind when he said he did not know about kandhar deal) and MMS for right reasons or no reasons.
The campaign was also wrong.
Just reminding Indians on security would have done the trick

Advani is a tall leader who made bipolar politics possible in India checking the selfish Congress which kept the country as it is even being in power for more than 50 years. MMS or Sonia didn't dare to discuss with LKA openly in Television on issues. Congress won just because the anti govt votes were split by Vijaykanth in TN, Chiru in AP, Rajthacrey in Maha and communists in WB, Kerala. BJP yet to develope its base in this states and once it develops its base then it will emerge stronger than any party. In TN, the DMK / MK came to power after 13 years which was kept out of power by MGR / ADMK. Even in Tamilnadu BJP stood second in couple of constituencies (Kanyakumari & Ramanathapuram). Future is with BJP.

Indeed. He's a BIG liar. He misleads voters with high pitch oratory and creates a mob frenzy. He does not mind if his speeches lead to violence among citizens of the country.

That's the problem with such mean people who support BJP. Do I personally have to be target of a mob to feel the injustice around me? Thousands of people got killed because of Advani's and Modi's wrong-doings over the last 20 years. I feel equally bad when a person from another religion dies. For us, a human life (or for that matter, any life) is important. Be it a Hindu or Muslim or Christian or whatever. Please come out of your narrow minded approach. Please consider all Indians as one.

with Congress we may have problems with outside world but with BJP we will be weakend internally,in that case we wont need enemies as we will be killing each other in the name of caste,culture religion

Sardar Patel united small kingdoms to India and made it a strong country and remained Deputy PM. Advani had contributed to bipolar politics of Indian democracy and remained Deputy PM. Advani' s contribution to check the monopoly of Congress and adamant regional parties are worhty for strenthering of Indian democracy. Longlive this selfless leader and hope he will pressure UPA bring swis money to India for decvelopement.

When Advani said Jinna was secular, I do not think he said something wrong. Jinnah was one of the few progressive muslims who never had anything to do with his religion. He infact had nothing special towards any religion. It is another matter he exploited people's sentiments on religion to create a separate country and become its premier. Otherwise, he ate pork, never offered namaz and was perhaps an atheists, and in that sense Advaniji may be wrong in the indian context of 'secularism'.
