Dude..don't get defensive about the conversion bit. It is Christianity that is built on the foundation of the belief that it is superior than other religions and therefore Christians have to spread far and wide and proselyltize! Well, if that is not communal thinking, then what is?
Why can't Christianity accept that all other religions are equal? Why can't their be other points of view that are equally acceptable?

What is Andhra getting
by siva theraviaraj on May 22, 2009 05:29 PM  | Hide replies

Andhra gave 33 MPs to the Congress. Single highest from any state.

Why isnt' there adequate representation for the people of Andhra?

Except for Jaipal Reddy who has been more of a wanderer/nomad none other figures in the list.

They are just spitting on Andhra people's face once again.

Last time they did this, a Telugu Desam Party was formed.

All the Communal muslims, sikhs and xtian voted for congress
by D S on May 22, 2009 05:22 PM  | Hide replies

BJP worked for Congress to polarize the votes

Next time regional/state should come together and forget local enemies. Be it Sena, mns, ncp, bsp, sp, lok Dal (ajit), uma bharti, dmk, aidmk, mamata, etc. etc.

Shasi Tharoor
by RAGHU on May 22, 2009 05:05 PM  | Hide replies

Two beggers one women and a child came in soughting coins. I saw the face of the child, which showed prolonged starvation. The woman too looking pity and asking for money to fill their stomach. I gave them ten rupees with a hope that the child will get atleast some relief from hunger. Immediately after receiving money, the woman went to a tea shop and purcahsed a cake and started eating it. The poor child was seeing her eating the cakes and exhaust the ten rupees i gave. How can I expect that my money will be used in a way I wanted? Politicians come begging with aluminium vessels putting someone to impress ourselves that they are going to do something great. If someone voted them with a big hope, it is their own mistake. Tharoor is just a showcase doll which could impress others. Are we fools to expect the DIRTY politicians to do something good for the country?

Please dont attack Tharoor, you should understand his capacity. The present politicians most of them are selfish and interested in earning wealth.Tharoor can produce the result if given a chance in the present ministry, which UPA Government knows.Educated people will always support and vote for them only.

DEAR RAGHU
DON'T LABEL ALL POLITICIONS.
YOU WILL SCARE AWAY GOOD PEOPLE FROM COMING TO SEEK POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY AND GOVERNANCE.
LOOK AT IT THIS WAY.
WE VOTE ON THE LIMITED OPTIONS OPEN TO US.
MUCH BEFORE THAT WE DO NOT ACT TO FWD A GENUINE PERSON,WHO KNOWS HIMSELF AND WANT TO BE OF SERVICE TO PEOPLE AND CAUSES AT LARGE AND NOT PURSUE SELFISH OR POWER SEEKING AGENDAS INDIVIDUALLY OR AT THE BEHEST OF THE PARTY.
WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO BE PROACTIVE AND PROMOTE GOOD PERSONS TO GAIN POWER.
