Black Day for India
by K on May 18, 2009 09:17 PM  | Hide replies

I think its time for Shri. L K Advani to retire. Anyways this country is doomed, all the ho-hallah about we want change and lighting of candles after every bomb blast were a hoax.

I will not shed a tear for my country after any terrorist attack. We Indians have done this throughtout our history and continue doing- The path of self destruction. Shame on you- People of India.
Rest assured- Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab would be relishing biryani/pulao for the next 5 years.

You are absolutely right. Arabs have invaded us again. During Arab rule extra tax was paid by Hindus. Well its no different now. During Congress we pay Haj subsidy for them to visit.

first of all why should BJP win?
do indians want development and progress? to they want their culture to be enriched? do they want swiss bank money to be brought back? do they want temples to be protected? do they want national highways and good river connections? do they want national security from terror attacks?
NO. they dont want all this. All they want is Rs 3 per Kg rice and color television.
and the educated lot? well 50% of them dont vote. remaining 25% are corrupt. Yes i mean it. I have seen my father being the only honest man in his department in his govt service. rest all were gobbling money down. I have seen it closely.
there is 1 honest man out of 10 today. tell me who wants BJP in power?
Friend, its time to carry on with life. Congress will rule India forever till taliban takes over. till then keep your fingers crossed. who knows when and where will be the next bomb blast? perhaps next door.

History is witness. All our nationalists were martyred due to traitors, be it Veer Shivaji or Rani Laxmi Bai or Bhagat Singh.

Calm down guys. Take a deep breath. You are letting paranoia mixed with bitter defeat cloud your judgement. Ask yourself this. In a country where 70% live at or near poverty level, which is more important. Swiss money, temples or Rice and wheat? In a country where malnutrition is rampant would you care for food first or the luxuries of culture? The writing on the wall is clear. It is just that BJP refuses to read it. Millions and millions of voters who excercized their right to vote are not Idiots. They voted their priorities. Ram Setu, Babri, Swiss money can wait. Let us put food on the table. And by the way who was going to lead this development for BJP. L K Advani, whose claim to fame is destruction of Babri, flouting Indian law and causing the death of a lot of people during the rath yatra and following disturbances. Hitler and Ravana both developed their respective countries, but we would not want them as leaders today. This is 21st century. India finally has the wind in its sails, why look back in the rear-view. As somebody said patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrels. When defeated at the hustings you talk of national security and Taliban. Obviously the country thinks differently. This shows how out of touch BJP is with the country.

menda, every person in this world is engaged in his own way in some sort of work or the other. challenging people like this shows immaturity.
even if one is thinking something good for his or her country his feelings should be respected.
i have no issues if you are a congress supporter till you have some concern for this nation rather than own vested interests. you introspect and find out. i cannot read your mind.

I congretulats congrss for becoming a single largest party. They should go lonely to give stablity to indian economy.

If you want congress to continue ruling then there is no difference between communism and democracy. Democracy is about change, fresh ideas new leadership and that could have very well been given by BJP. But unfortunately they had leader crisis. Not that MMS is a top notch leader but he is educated and that's how all the sympathy wen to him.

Mamta is not really opportunist, she is devoted for a change in state at any cost. When she left congress, the state congress was nothing but team B of CPIM. As soon as she realized that she left congress and there was personal gain in it. Still WB congress is not really sincere to drive out commies from state govt. Mamta neither an excellent politician nor a good admintrator, but her sincerity and devotion to make WB free from mis-rule of commies is really appreciable.

Plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Kamadhenu on May 18, 2009 08:42 PM  | Hide replies

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

WILL UPA ALSO TAKE STEPS TO STOP CONVERSION
After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Because you spoke of conversions, this my opinion.
Who is not converted in this country?
Take for example brahmans. From where they have come from? Why a brahman in Kashmir looks different from Brahman of coimbatore? Because my dear sir, all these brahmans were converted brahmans. Original brahmans are in RSS now. They are running show of brahmans through BJP. If some people chose not to be slaves of brahmans does not mean that they are not Indians. They have every right to be Indians because the heritage of this country is for every one.Conversions must be there. People should be allowed to live in whatever way they chose to live.If there is no freedom there is no sense of well beaing. Those who are under control of brahmans rituals and their astrological time tables does not relish other being living in freedom. That is why there is lot of hatred is being generated. Tribals were saved by christians missioneries. It was christian missioneries who gave education to every one in the country. Not gurukuls which were only for rich, and brahmans. If you want to hate some one who is doing good then it is your mental outlook. The role of missioneries can not be fathomed by fools. Only wise in this country know that. They have just shown you their mind in Orissa. Every tribal every harijan every untouchable are living in freedom because of conversions. They defininitely dont like to be under control of goons and goondas who are masquerading under the flags of religion. They will so

New political equation
by abboral boral on May 18, 2009 08:28 PM

I am glad that 2009 election has shown the seeds of very few party system in India like in 60 s but the difference is that in 60s only few parties dare to enter politics as their career except INC who was a 100 years old party and was engaged in freedom movement of India and was a natuaral choice as a rular after 1947 .Congress ruled mostly ignorant ,illiterate underdeveloped India upto 1990 .Then came the liberisation in 1991 by Dr Manmohan Singh under able leadership of late PM p>v>Narsimha Rao and suddenly India started all round development and reached to a state now where India virtually dominating world economy .The only casualty is a multy party system and coalition politics emerged with great obstacle to development further .2009 has given a very clear signal of less party as only two major party like Congress and BJP has emerged with two clear seperate idiology of the two parties but on a common goal of India developments .Indian voters are now developed ,intellegent, litterate so a warning signal also coming for these two major parties that they should not take easy to Indian people now

TMC CONG won because of no-split of votes and election held under proper security blanket. 66% of Bengalees always disliked commies and it voted against them. This has to happen. It had happened in last Panchayat election too. The same may repeat in Assembly if the same theory kept in mind by both CONG TMC.
