Left front in Bengal
by debasish on May 18, 2009 03:19 PM

Left have lost touch with the mass long time back (at least in WB),all they have done in Bengal (apart from land reforms in the first few years)is killing opposition party supporters (about 30000), closing industry (about 50000 small, medium and large scale), abolishing English (for 15 years after which they have realized the mistake and reintroduced english) and making a mockery of democracy where the district heads of CPM were given more power that DM (District Magistrate. And overall the left ideology is to support China in all respect, CPIM should be renamed as " Chinese Party of India-Marxist"

Comrade accept the mistake
by para on May 18, 2009 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

A lesson for comrade who are thinking smart in all issues. If they joined 123 agreement i feel there is no dispute in congress and Comrade but Karat become more smart. He has miscalculation which is back fired.
We all know that since 1947 this congress party was alive and there is NO SHORTAGE OF FUND any how they spend lavishly which other party can not do. Slowly CMP [Comrade] should forget that Secular ideology. As on date no party including BJP don't want any communal riot in any part of the country. Comrade should remove that SINGLE AGENDA SECULAR. It is more ideal that corruption issue which is more powerful tool in all aspects. If people watched onn 16.5.2009 CNN IBN . There is clear message shown that 'THE GAMBLE STATED SINCE 1947' during Nehru Regime for paying the money for vote. It means congress have every year adding there huge wealth if fight against corruption which main disease created by Congress party.

Past is past let them wake-up Comrade and start take up the issue of Corruption which main vote catcher and also poor /middle class people are more effected. Let them understand the gravity of the situation.

Praksh Karat has capmaigned in 4-5 out towns in Kerala out of a possible 1000. You can make another 10,000 interpretation as to why he dint campaign in the rest of the places he dint visit. And please understand he(as any individual) is free to have his personal friendship with any law abiding, respectful citizen of India. Is this the only instance of politicians across parties being friends? Karat stands against the principles and polocies of the congress (and Tharoor) and not against any person, including Man Mohan Singh. If you insist that Karat should stoop to the level of politicians from Bihar and UP and tarnish people personally, that shows your level...

Karat is unreliable
by shibli fatmi on May 18, 2009 03:09 PM

Karat & Yetuchry look like executives of multinational. They hardly look like a marxist.

Both are highly ambitious person and know how to get rid of people.

Yetuchry ensured exit of Saifuddin Chaudhary, one of the most brilliant parliamentarian.

They got rid of highly respected Somnath Chaterejee.

Now this news of Nair's defeat.

With people like Karat / Yetcury at the helm of affairs they hardly need any Mamta Banerjee to finish them.

Karate - tharoor
by Mohana kumaran Nair on May 18, 2009 03:08 PM

What mentioned in the may be correct because when sasi tharoor contested for the post of UN secretary general, Karate was one of the firm supporter for him, so it may be a decent support from karate to tharoor that karate not comming to Trivandrum for companying for Nair and after all Nair is a cpi candidate and CPM won't loose anything if Nair is deafted.

In Kerala, there is no Democracy. CPM goondaism there. They kill opponents.
CPM leaders are very rich and have relations with MAFIA. CPM has now become Congress in Internal conflicts in their party. No Ethic in CPM politics. Marxism is outdated. They blocks development. Do publicity stunts.

You are in wonderland. CPM will not be wiped out from the Indian politics. Certain setbacks during electoral battles or class struggles are always anticipated. For CPM or for communisits participating in elections in a democratic set-up is only part of its class struggle. Whatever little service party can provide under this current democractic set-up to the masses, it tries to give.

Electoral set-backs come when CPM is unable to block the propaganda of congress and its like minded parties backed with CIA, print and visual media barrons, Christian and Muslim communal foces and convey its own messages to the common people.

People will realise their mistakes soon as in the past.
