First of all full credit to all of us for voting in favour of Mr.Singh and congress who can now take major decisions without any hussles from our greedy self motivated politicians like Pawar, Laloo, Mulayam, Amar Singh, Paswan, Jayalalitha, TRS etc. It is a known fact that all CPIM and other left leaders are getting foreign money from China to destabilize our government. We should throw away entire marxist leaders from our country to China if we wants to achieve growth.

full marks to my cok. COngress doesnt become a saint all of a sudden since it won. It still is a treacherous party with shivraj patils, arjun singhs, and it is going all out to destroy the democratic nature of India by putting up their stooges as ECs and now as CEC. All are equally bad.

Its not the fighting but their arrogance and goondagiri which kept them in power.Pinarai Vijayan is a goonda leader who kept Guns and runs Kannur as his kingdom. He wants to be in power as a Mafia don. Look at the way they are trying to exempt him from Lavlin case. Sorry to say since '82 under Mr.Nayanar, they Mr.Nayanar, Pinarai, M.A.Baby, Kodiery, E.P.Jayrayan all are supervising and terrorising Kannur to show their muscle power. Look at Nandigram and Singhur where they had killed so many innocent farmers in the name of development. I think people now start to think positively and hopefully we can see all these goondas are banished from Gods own Country

the battle is only half won as this was the lok sabha elections. Hope the trinamool can keep their heads and for once act mature. Congress is a spineless treacherous party. Trianmool offered the third alternative and hence it won. If it goes back to congress it will be back to square one. Lets see what happens and hope for the best. Else a new face will emerge to take forward the people.
Everyone is happy with the defeat of left, as they were dictating at their own cost, without giving respect to voters. In democracy, no individual or small should have their own terms of dictation. They must honour the majority.
Dont blame left for that.'coz the wise heads of left (as they describe themself) thinks what they do is right and all others are fools and have no brains and only their ideas(if any) are valuable and correct(may be for the development of their family wealth). They keep it very simple to have power always by making people lazy by some stupid labour laws and education system where they eradicate competition. They will scream "Labrs, why do you work for the owners? 'coz u r working they are getting profit. demand all their(owners) wealth as wages and make him a coolie and for that we will stage darna - bandh - close out." After this they will conduct a dialogue with teh management and demand money. The leaders gets some lakhs or crores and the labrs get some 1000's and the management closes the company and lives with whatever left for them peacefully or start another company in some other places. Now the comrades will gather in party offices and say/ pride themselves how they managed to close out the company forgetting the fact that they have lost their jobs, not only for them but for their children also. once these 1000's they obtained is over they start collection from common people who works hard on field. These comrades will never do any work they simply demand money for examle in kerala, where im building my house, I used tipper lorry for getting stones and its automatic. A large percentage of voters in WB do not know what it is to live under a congress govt. Some of them have been carried away by the illusion that their state would have been another Singapore but for left rule. Refugee influx from Bangladesh and arrival of the joblesss in lakhs from neighboring states are unique and continuing problesms of WB. People have given up the bird in hand . Let us see if those in the bush come by. In any case the left should be happy that the reigns of anti-CPM forces are in the hands of Mamatadee, the Maverick. It won't take 6 months for her to make a mess of the state even if she takesover in 2011.

Very right. Even if congress doesnt make it Singapore, it will at least arrest the state's decline. From its peak in sixties, WB has slid to such a low that it is insulting to such brilliant minds that Bengalis have. One hopes, Congress wins Assembly too and does some good work like Shiela Dixit in Delhi or Nitish Kumar in Bihar. Of course, Mamata is a crackpot, but hopefully Congress will act as a balancing factor.

Who said she is not progressive. She just want to strike a balance. Not loke Left where last 32 years they were NO INDUSTRY. Now they are NO AGRICULTURE. MAMATA is a person whose integerity is beyond question and will take Bengal forward with the right balance and maturity and political wisdom. Congratulations to people in Bengal for seeing through these oppurtunistic, hypocrites - the left and going in the RIGHT direction.There is nothing called left or non left in politics. Its all about development of the people of Bengal and India. Only Mamata and INC can do this. They will delver in the next two years. We will see an INC/TMC government in West Bengal in the next term and thereafter.
The best thing happened in 2009 general election is the defeat of leftist. They have ruined the State of West Bengal. I congratulate Bengali friends for teaching a lesson to CPM.
CPM is basically a bunch of adament, reluctant to change & outdated people and expert in organised gondagiri.
