Left was a party run by the masses..There connect with rural india was high and involvement in solving people problems were credible at one point of time..Now with prakash,brinda & yechury gang taking over..they made it a pseudo intellectual party..with more importance to power discussion..This was bound to happen..good that it happened earlier

Just one thing to say regardless of any party/politics:
1. Hell is where Power rules. 2. Earth is where System rules. 3. Heaven is where Love rules.
So, our aim is to make love rule or at least a system should be there. No Power, even be right, should not be allowed to rule as it in future will hit back us - history says. So, Love others and beloved by all.
* Socialism = Preventing Race to the Bottom * Capitalism = Promoting Race to the Top India needs Socialism and Capitalism (either implicitly or indirectly) to build and sustain a great nation. And Indian Communists are absolutely clueless about Capitalism.

Ye sI do agree with you.But where were you to advice , when Modi used all the bad words under the sun against Priyanka, Sonia ? Where were you when Karat and co. used worst rhetorics against Sonia and Rahul? Few things that Bengal need badly...Both the Cong and BJP's direct presense at grassroot level would be needed...TMC is not like DMK, AIDMK, TDS or JD etc...they lack political wisdom....People of Bengal need strong alternative...what will happen is TMC supporters will start throwing their weight around in falso brovado and in the process commit harakiri...and Let front will say "see this is the alternative, there will be no peace anymore.....Till about a month back CPIM cadres would come to our building to collect contributions of Rs 10 every two months..that was for party funds they would claim and give a 10 Re receipt....yesterday for the the first time TNC cadres came and their demand is Rs 25 minimum and they are planning to do every month...things have already started to happen here...
As it appears now, Mamta as an UPA ally will be giving outside support to the Govt. She will create unnecessary hassles to each polictical move and will keep on blackmailing congress. It may be a better move to patch up wih Lallu, he did a excellent job as Railway minister and was a very good coalition partner.

all that congress has done in past 50 years is that it and its ministers has got richer. Its mascot the MangoMan comes up before every elections like the Olympic mascots and is dumped after elections as party sponsors screw MangoMen from behind to get back the sponsorship money for party campaigning. keep lauding the congress for these activities you smart azes.
