We do not need any Opposition Party
by Radha Krishnan on May 18, 2009 07:03 PM  | Hide replies

Now, Sonaji, Rahulji, Priyankaji and their sons or daughters, their grand-sons and grand daughters will rule India for another 100 years. India will prosper and progress under Gandhi dynasty. So we do not need any opposition party in India. BJP should be dissolved and it leaders should start running provision stores or vegitable shops.

congress
by shaikhhamid on May 18, 2009 06:58 PM

congress proves that they the godfather of indian politics....

if u see the events closely in this elections and in 2004 elections some similarities r there

in 2009 elections

congress and media gave hype to varun gandhi for his alleged speech....

in the begining bjp stays away then in the end they have to stand behind varun...

congress very well aware that varun will win that seat, but what they did is they showed the communal face of bjp via media....and gave varun pilibhit but took so many of bjps seats

and in the end congress got seats all over india, and bjp and its allies lost heavily....

same scene in 2004 when they blew up modi issue, that time even vajpayee accepted that due to modi the image of india has been badly affected, but later the other leaders of bjp stand behind modi, and the result was same

in 2004 bjp was riding on high sky after completing 5years of rule successfully...

in 2004 bjp's much hyped "india shining" and in 2009 bjp's "pm candidate in waiting".... flopped badly....

ADVANI and MODI the DESTROYER of INDIA
by JGN JGN on May 18, 2009 06:51 PM

Advani had been sleeping when 150 Porki's intruded India at Kargil for more than one Month.

Advani laughed when thousands of Brave Army Jawans were killed by Porkis and we spent around 25000 crore Indian ruppees to kill 150 Porkis.

50% money spent for Kargil war went to different saffron leaders and thier German Bank accounts.

Advani was smiling when Bombay was fired by Hooligans in 1993 after Babri Demolition.

Advani start dreaming to become India's PM when ten thousands of Poor village people flees thier home after riots in Kandhamal.

Advani was against India's development when India signs Nuclear Deal.

He found to be a dreamy man without any positive action and an opportunistic for self improvement rather country's development.

He could not understand pulse of India and he never understand the heart beats especially the rural villages.

He cleverly uses religious sentiments to gain votes for BJP.

He will be remembered along with MODI as Chopper of Indian Culture & its 3000 years old Heritage.

The Best place for ADVANI is HIMALAYA where thousands of Rishis chanting mantras which certainly will heal his SINS and wrong doing in the past, but he should go there with MODI, the Killer.

YES, India never want a leader like ADVANI or MODI but it welcome any other leader who knows the needs of our INDIA.

JaiHind... JaiBharath Matha...Vande Matharam.

BJP's revival
by ANAND TEERTHA on May 18, 2009 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

There is nothing like shock at the defeat of the BJP lead NDA or the success of the Congress -I lead UPA. Opinion of some are correct that the BJP doesn't inspire Hindus more because Hindus have become more materialistic, westernized and no time for our country or religion or self pride /self reliance.

As far as frightening of Non-Muslims is concerned, it is not the Hindutva brigade, threatening them but secular media and anti Indian human rights brigade ganged up against BJP and created this impression in the minds of the non-Hindus.

The youth policy of any political party whose leaders are the products of grass root level how can you expect a young leader at the top. Current bloggers are the products of dynastic politics whose contribution to the nation is nothing except their parental lineage. This is a temporary phase and sooner than later our voters will realize the futility of voting to these media projected darlings youngsters. And as soon as ageing PM MMS passes through health problems media projected dynasty rulers will anoint a member waiting in the wings to take over from the tired PM from Rajya Sabha.

It is the pro Cong-I media sets an agenda for the nation and the BJP does not have a will power or agenda to rule this nation. It still looks for allies and crutches and their own ruled states except few do not deliver the seats required to form the government. If BJP needs Advani’s guidance he can give it without being a leader of the opposition.

I think this is the biggest difference between the Congress and the BJP. If you conduct any poll on the web, BJP trounces Congress by three to one. BUt in any real elections it loses to Congress. As one commentator noted, BJP is the party of the elite (aka the Brahmins and upper castes) who have a vested interest in propogating and perpetuating orthodox Hinduism because that preserves their position.
BJP can celebrate on the web while Congress celebrates on the ground. Messages on this message board never exceed a couple of thousand on the best of days, while the elections are decided by millions of people. Advantage: Aam Aadmi !!
