There are some trouble with BJP.
1. They never any money spend on media appeasement.
2. All BJP MPs are Hindi fanatics who never care for south India.
3. For BJP to come to power, may be MK shall die.

80 % Maharastrians possess such kinds of false certificates. Mostly they prepare it from their ministers and state, then they use it in other states, get admission to those precious colleges and course at a very low grade. In my state, Himachal, they are plenty in number.

Discrepancies in Voters list!!
by shanmuga subramanian on May 17, 2009 10:02 AM

There are many discrepancies in voters list

In TN
a)No of eligible voters is less in 2009 when compared with 2006 elections (Not only in TN also in other states)

b)compare the 5th phase eligible voters on election commission's website with overall eligible votes for Tamil Nadu..There is huge difference

c)In Election Commission's website .. the figures have been fudged to show a high polling percentage..

Chandigarh's polling percentage is 682%

Great guy Rahul
by asli bharatwasi on May 17, 2009 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

Rahul Gandhi is like a breath of fresh air in the dirt and slum of Indian politics. For the first time, I am hearing a leader who didnt use the words "secular" and "communal" in his speech today after the win. For the first time, we are hearing a leader who didnt abuse his opponents but rather expressed his respect for Advani. Hope he takes India forward!
In addition, he is the most good looking politician of the nation and we will be proud to have a PM like him rather than ppl like Deve Gowda, Gujral,Mayawati,Pawar etc.

Ramdoss was given a clear lesson. He has to re-think his activities to come back. But Vaiko case is different, he was defeated with a great effort & money. There was a huge paln to defeat him. For defeating him alone some KKSSR like persons were given responsibility with huge money.

Yes you are correct.

There was a difference of about 22,000 between votes polled and votes counted.

And victory margin was only 15,000..

Though EVM's are fool proof. there is something fishy here...

22,000 votes being missed out is not a clerical error..

Re:Seeing the results
by John Bosco on May 17, 2009 09:33 AM

The results in TN are quite surprising, because conventional arithmetic indicated AIADMK front would do very well.Obviously this went wrong. In several constituencies Vijayakanth's party has polled nearly a lakh votes whereas the victory margin is much lower.Even Vaiko has lost because of this.Brilliant strategy of Kalaignar to deflect the anti incumbency. This will repeat for Assembly unless AIADMK aligns with DMDK.
The correlation between high turnout and PMK losses is strong.PMK losses are sharper than DMDK votes moved out.So it is not clear what happened in PMK strongholds.Clearly PMK has been cut to size.
DMK margins even in Chennai are far lower than DMDK votes.Clearly DMDK has been a major factor.
Absolute power is always bad.DMK has it.It better not go to its head.

Fate of Tamilnadu
by vimal mohan on May 17, 2009 09:11 AM  | Hide replies

The Mistake of Youngsters and Literated peoples who fails to vote this time, have made the Family party to come to power again. Nobody can change the fate of tamilnadu. Alagiri, the man who is doing roudism in state level will do in National level. We tamilnadu peoples i dont know when we will understand the importance of voting, if u r getting 500 and sacrificing ur vote means that u r going to lose 50,000 in coming years. Please understand peoples. We dont want a government giving everything free, we want a government who can treat government staffs as a working staff and who can create a job for the poors. Not like giving free food and TV.

money power of dmk
by Patrick on May 17, 2009 08:18 AM  | Hide replies

karunanidhi does not like to share hiw money. but the wonderful azhigiri ordered the distribution of 5000 Rs per vote with threats of death if people who recieved the money did not vote.Veerasamy paid GVR over 10000 crores for temp electricoty and still cut electricity for the state the night before elections. the future looks bright. the voters may get a share a of corrupt money. good for the dmk

No Even one of my relatives got Rs 500 for each vote..

So for 1 lakh votes you need to get just Rs 5 crores

If you have 20 crores you can win a MP seat.. and

If you have 400 crores you can win 20 seats (Read DMK) and earn 50,000 crores

It is a surprise only to Media and Large section of people out side TN. Media intentionally created an illusion that ADMK will sweep, primarily because most of them never give credit to Karunanidhi. even where he deserves. People have given fitting reply to all those talked about jaya being king maker and worst some channel talked about she being PM candidate

exactly what does he deserve. he took a movemment created by anna and periyar in a personal checking/saving account and milked this to the core. do you realise this pauper is richer than the prince of saudi and 99% of this wealth is created by his corruption. Infact he was a visionary that translated politics to money. He was the brain behind money slabs for transfers in the 60's

Karunanidhi is University compared to Jaya who did PhD & got gold medal in corruption. Do not forget Karunanidhi is the only CM indicted by Sarkaria commission for corruption by Indira (who later buried it for political reasons) & Karunanidhi accepted his corruption saying that "those who pick honey will lick their hands." In Politics ALL are corrupt. We need to chose people who are less corrupt, good administrator, decision maker, maintain law & order. Karuna earned money in crores aligning with forest brigand Veerappan. He always supports ALL anti-nationals.
