'Kalaignar' in Tamil does not mean 'Scholar'. It means 'Artist'. Only 'Arignar' means 'Scholar'.

"He who spoke as though only the people of Sri Lanka and the LTTE (and not those of Tamil Nadu) existed for him"
- this shows who you are. Did he tell or suggest at any point of time that Tamils of Tamilnadu did not matter to him? Reporters must be unbiased and avoid injecting their own view into the article. He is a seasoned politician who has continuously won from the Sivakasi area. After delimitation the area went to Virudhunagar where Mr Pandia Rajan who is a businessman and philanthropist contested against him and split the votes. If you look at Tamilnadu's history, even the great Kamaraj lost at the hands of a fresh DMK man. Does it mean that Kamaraj did not work for Tamils?

C'mon, even the finance minister Chidambaram won only by a meagre 3000 votes. For the finance minister of India this is indeed a great margin ;-)

PMK is out- Great thing happened in TN
by amit mishra on May 17, 2009 05:40 AM  | Hide replies

PMK, which is Paatalli Makkal Katchi, headed by Ramadoss got a huge slap this time. This PMK does not have any idea to cover people. If they does not have alliance with DMK or ADMK, they will not even think of getting deposit. They dont have any policy other than getting ramadoss's son anbumani a lok sabha seat and ministiral post.
Its really great news that nobody in TN will have alliance with this PMK because, it has lost all its contested 7 seats.
Ramadoss usually tells onething. Whenever we join in a party, that party will win. Now what happened Mr. Ramadoss.
First try to show your vote bank like contesting individually like Vijayakanth and then come for alliance.
Now your cast people itself ditched you. Good news really

The PMK is basically a caste based party which is trying to use sensationalism to rise. This is indeed a good slap for Ramadoss. Now the DMK and AIADMK must know where to keep the PMK.

But there are some good things Anbumani did like smoking prohibition, tree conservation, anti-liquor, etc. See his "Makkal TV" no cinema or entertainment programs only jobs, stock market, real estate, etc. unlike Sun TV, Kalaigner, who will show anything for money (Sun TV, etc. are showing serials with god, ghost, etc. whereas DMK is an atheist & talks against all this).

All news channels flashed that P Chidambaram lost from Sivagangai. The opinion of Sheila Dixit was also sought and she felt sorry for him. But towards late evening he is declared elected. Where did this goof up occur?

Look ADMK has been with BJP & Congress. DMK has been with BJP & Congress. So why do u want to take sides? They are all the same. Congress has had some efficient people (like MMS, PC, Kumaramangalam etc) who did brilliant things. For example the old policy of allowing 100% depreciation for windmills if a profitable company puts up a windmill - that policy has made India the second largest wind energy producer in the world. So how long can people fooled by religious calls? Those will stir up temporary emotions and will make one the victor in one election. After that only the tummy talks. BJP has to work and deliver.

Not sure if that is your real name or if you are just baiting hate response but either way you are not helping anyone. Keep religion where it belongs to - in your hearts and temples.

India has suffered for last few millenniums due to various religions. Enough of that.

It is clear victory only for DMK, Congress leaders EVKS Elangovan and Mani shankar aiyar lost terribly...Chidambaram too, but won in recount(?)...This clearly shows the Srilankan issue played very well against the Congress, but didnt do any good to ADMK and its allies... DMK won purely due to its commitment to the development of the state...With congress in the centre, DMK can change Tamilnadu into heaven...Hope Azaghiri is sent to delhi and Stalin is made the CM of TN...

Ha ha....you are talking as though DMK won for the first time....it has been part of central govt for 18 out of 20 years. If TN has not yet turned into heaven, how will one more term for DMK at Delhi make that happen??
And by the way giving free rice and TV is not development and nor is breaking Ram Sethu. And MuKa writing poems for LTTE is not going to be of any use for Tamils dying in SriLanka!

It's beauty of religion where any one has rights to question the way they see god. I fear they dont have it in others to even raise a question and ask where is god.

In islam you say every thing is God's . We see god in everything. That is the difference. Neither you nor me in own terms can speculate about god.

Everything is creation of God and you me and eveyone follow a different ways.

God is one religion is different ways to reach him.

If i wear hat of aestist and ask you where is god, what example do you give?
