Muralidhar Kandadai
no hope lost for BJP
by Muralidhar Kandadai on May 18, 2009 03:28 PM

when you see the results, congress gained because of left, it swept the places where left was in power and where BJP had no position. In BJP ruled states except fro uttara khand, it did very well. I feel BJP should look at positive side of the results and consolidate its position and play a constructive opposition. it should depend on allies for getting votes. In orrissa it was piggy banking on Naveen patniak instead of conslidting it position.

Where are the BJPians????
by He She on May 18, 2009 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

I am surprised that all the BJPians have buried themselves and no one has anything to write for them now...its also goodnews that theb BJPians have a long 5 years time to revisit and rethink on writing big things in the blog....

Where are the numbers that the BJPian supporters gave for the party...some where giving them more than 350 and some even 400.

People who gave congress 1, 0, 2, in their tally and said that congress is getting below 3 digit and for the first time they are going down to 2 digit has disappeared...Where are those smart people??? You all should be ashamed of what you were dreaming...

Even Mr. Modi and other BJP leaders said that congress was a dreaming lot and they are not living in reality...where are those people now...buried themselves...Even Modi could not sustain the wave of congress and its allies in his own State of Gujarat...

It should be realized that today people don't go on words...they go on deeds..so if you have done your homework...you are set to win..otherwise..you become a nuisance...

People have rejected divisive politics and have voted for better future..

All those who gave numbers less for congress should come out openly and acknowledge that they were wrong and that congress is not a dying party anymore...but have risen to the ocassion and in future...they will come out single handedly...

So all those who were wrong, please come to your right sense and now support development...not BJP...

Question for Congress supporters
IF you have a look in India people live in peace. In country on more than a billion there are going to be stray incidents. The Congress rule of divisive politics like the british has polarised communities to a certain extent.

First of all let me make it clear I am not a Safron Brigade guy.I am also not a leftist. But I am extremely anti- Congress.
I am only talking about Congress here. How can there be so called secularism when one community is supposed to get first claim to resources. There is going to be reservation in the private sector based on communities.
Again why should only one dynasty rule the country time and again and why cant everything be be on merit and merit alone. And how do u expect and Italian who has links with an international criminal Quatrochi and helped in the Boffors scam to be faithful to India. As we are all Indians what is good for me is also good for u so it does not make a difference.
I am unhappy that Congress has won.

The father and son I mean gowdas should take this blame as they have helped BJP to gain this momentum or else do you belive BJP will get seats no way. As the votes were divided between Congress and JDs. BJP should be thankful to gowda and his son for helping them.

There was an understanding between Congress and JDS. JDS fielded weak candiadets or did not field candidates in many places. It was a direct fight between Congress and BJP in 23 places and in remaining it was fight between BJP and JDS. Your argument does not hold valid.

Most heartening results
by Rationalist on May 18, 2009 12:41 PM  | Hide replies

Sangliana, the one who backstabbed voters by crossvoting lost. IF he would have won, conversions would have got a big boost.
Other welcome results are of Renuka Choudary, Antulay, Paswan, Shohabuddin, Bangarappa, all loosing.
One more hope out of the Blue is that JD-S supremo and his son won't get any place in the govornment and their support gets rejected. They are worse than Congress.
Also, one more proof of criminality among minorites is that they elected match fixer Azhar. They proved once again that they are antinationals.

Karnataka going the Kerala way
by Joginder Singh on May 18, 2009 12:34 PM

It was Kerala who always had opposite parties ruling the center and state. Now its the turn of Karnataka.

And Congress in Kerala suffered in 2004 due to infighting thanks to Karunakaran. But in Karnataka there are too many Karunakarans.see how the congress in kerala has performed once karunakaran and his son murali were shown their place

An iron hand from centre is needed to clear all the karunakarans of karnataka.
