Beggars before joining politics
by Sampat Kumar on May 17, 2009 11:57 PM  | Hide replies

Most of these politicians must have been beggars before joiniing politics. These are only the declared assets. Politicians neither keep their ill-gotten money in their names nor do they have assets built with this ill-gotten money in their names. The real figure will be 100 times more. Ask them to declare assets of their next of kin, parents, in-laws,cousins,chachas,Mamas etc.

EVM Blues
by Skunk Werkz on May 17, 2009 11:42 PM  | Hide replies

I cannot say whether Congress rigged the EVM or not, but an EVM can be easily rigged by people in the know. Its child's play!.

How do I know? My company was involved in the initial concept design and bidding process for the design of the EVM's. Needless to say that we didn't win the bid because my company don't have processes to support the under-the-table cash demands to win govt projects.

Before anyone jumps all over me and shout sour grapes: I don't speak for/believe in ANY political party of India. Heck... I didn't even vote.

Think...Why do all other countries still use paper ballot polls even after having technological superiority?

Sare MP Desh drohi hai. Inko Baraff par rakh kar gandhi ke dandi se marna chahi ye. Specially all theseCongress' L Rajagopal in Andhra Pradesh and NCP's Padamsinha Bajirao Patil from Maharashtra. These are followed by NCP's Praful Patel (Rs 89.9 crore), Congress' G Vivekanand (Rs 72.9 crore), Congress' Y S Jaganmohan Reddy (Rs 72.8 crore), Congress' Rajkumar Ratna Singh (Rs 67.8 crore), Akali Dal's Harsimrat Kaur (Rs 60.3 crore) and National Congress Party's Supriya Sule (Rs 50.4 crore).

Besides, there are Bahujan Samaj Party's Surendra Singh Nagar (Rs 49.2 crore), BJP's Shivakumar Udasi (Rs 48.2 crore), Congress' Preneet Kaur (Rs 42.3 crore), Congress' Annu Tandon (Rs 42.1 crore), Congress' Rajamohan Reddy (Rs 36.3 crore), Congress' Priya Dutt [Images] (Rs 34.9 crore) and Congress' Kapil Sibal (Rs 31.9 crore).

Congress MP's are more courupt. It shows with there earning. Indira Gandhi was corrupt.
Most of the people in india are either uneducated who do not know to whom to vote. They just see politicians as their favourite Film Actor.

Students from IIM , IIT, And other good institutions should be given chance and only those who are well educated and love their Nation.

Lets see who brings the black money in India.
I do not suppot any party. I Am an Indian. Jai Hind

What is special?
by Nayak Nayak on May 17, 2009 10:58 PM  | Hide replies

When in India an ordinary police inspector, a junior engineer in government, an inspector in vehicle and income tax department can earn several hundred crores there is nothing wrong in politicians amassing wealth. Since Advani is no more a prime minister they can continue to keep their money in swiss banks and enjoy.

Yes, I don't see any harm in Politicians amassing 10 crores or more.

When in a city like Bombay, ordinary crime branch inspectors like Pradeep Sharma can accumulate a wealth of Rs.4,500 Crores ( due to sensible investments, according to Pradeep Sharma ) then what's the harm in some politicians stacking a paltry 10 crores ???

Well, somehow I have a strong feeling that certain Justices in the Bombay High Court are going to make a killing :-)

3075 crore total assets of 543 members.....
by Bhasmasur Rakshas on May 17, 2009 10:56 PM

That is an average of 5.66 crore per MP which is piddly by US standards....

Most US congressmen and senate members have a net worth well in excess of $50 million.......pls don't assume that corruption is only restricted to India.....
