What the use ?
by Priyanka Lobo on May 17, 2009 10:59 AM  | Hide replies

Whats the use ?

There are some states where BJP has done very well, for e.g. in Karnataka. Even though we witnessed Church attacks and women attacks sponsored by Yeddi government we were expecting a clean wash out like that of in Orissa. In the case of Orissa, people are more mature in voting for a party and they have voted for peace in the state. But Karnataka people are fanatics and hence there is no way that BJP can be defeated. But what the use ? Even if BJP won all the 28 seats there is absolutely no use for the state as the central government is headed by Congress. In national politics communal politics has no place. Since Karnataka people didnt vote for secular values and went with the BJP, it is expected that Karnataka is going to suffer for its wrong verdict. They should have voted for that party which comes to power at center (or a part of ruling government at center) to get maximum benefits. Karnataka people since voted for BJP will prove to be a useless thinking on behalf of electorate and they have to suffer for it.

No State has progressed like Gujarat despite being a State under BJP (opposition) rule since last over 8-10 years. Hence if a state has to progress, it is very important that it is ruled by a clean person and not a shortsighted person. Narendra Modi may not be clean but under him Gugarat has progressed and Gujarathis are happy. As long as State benefits and progresses and the citizens are happy it does not matter who is at the centre. What is the use of Congress at Centre when States ruled by them like Maharshtra is attacked at farmers commit suicide.

If rest of india gifted congress for its high price inflationary rule only to furthered by terror all round, doesnt mean karnataka people should also be fools to follow them.... Not everyone cant be fooled by Rahuls and Priyankas like some ill informed voters.

CIA punished Left & BJP for opposing Nuke Deal
by Ramesh on May 17, 2009 10:51 AM  | Hide replies

It is not the Indians, those who punished. It is the CIA who punished, Left & BJP.

The EVM machine's software can be easily tampered. In tech-term. The module that can turn an EVM machine

into a biased machine can be activated by some preset code. The code can easilty be entered by EC (who is

already a puppet of UPA like CBI).

So the results can be easily twisted.

Although by this technique a 'very strong' opposition candidate can still not be defeated, since EVM is

biased to some small %. Not making othere get 0% vote. So that a confusion remains on this'Biasing'

Iraq govt. is already a puppet of US. Afghan's govt also puppet, so is Pak and now so has become India.

Isn't is surprising that bomb blast in Delhi & Mumbai increased vote count of UPA.
That means more the blasts will be there in futerue, more will be the vote of Cong.

For tampering EVM CIA is not requied. EVMs are manufactured by PSUs which are under direct govt control. EVM preset codes are with CEC/ECs.... so its obvious only indian govt can do it on its own and doesnt need CIA... :-)

Why didnt they tamper with EVMs in the seats that UPA did not win ?????
Incidentally to refresh your memory, Delhi and Mumbai voted for UPA in the last Lok Sabha elections. The reason why they voted this time for the UPA was the disgusting attempt by the BJP to exploit the situation for political gain.

Biasing is not 100%, it is some % only. THis way an equally strong opponent will lose.
But a strong opponent can't be defeated at all.
US has an old habit of increasing its influence thru out the wolrd, why don't u understand this...

What is wrong in going close to US. That way we alienated PAK from rest and we increased our dominence for which we should praise UPA govt as the rare success for India we were expecting long time. i think we won the PAK in getting more confidence of the world in the region.

Joshi Ji ,

Now it is high time you understood that the biggest reason for BJPs loss is one Mr Modi and his divisive politics . Also this mandate shows who was " strong" and who was weak .

The sooner Gujjus understand this , the better it will be for the country .

Re: Six reasons why BJP lost Election 2009.

Raj ,
I only partially agree , as per me here are the reasons :
1. BJP was in two minds about hindutva , on one hand it allowed varun and modi to run amock with hindutva , on the other it tried to project itself as inclusive party . Result : it was neither here nor there . It failed to enthuse hindu voters and on the other it forced muslims to vote en block . old adage of rider of two boats ...
2. Modi , being projected nationally worked against BJP , i for one attended one such rally in Haryana and believe me , people were angered when he made fun of MMS .
3. LKA attacked MMS and this alienated a section of middle class voters ( i would count myself as one of those ) .
4. The biggest problem for BJP is they do not have a universally accepted leader like AB Bajpayee . He had the image of a moderate hindu ( there are people who would disagree and call it just an image ) .

However , overall im not too unhappy with results what with Left being out of equation , I hope the govt now works towrds betterment of people .
