by Srinivasa K on May 16, 2009 02:38 PM  | Hide replies

New govt.should immediately pay attention to price rise, unemployment, recession, inflation etc. and pave way for roll back of our economy.
New govt has got young and enthusiatic MPs and their suggestion and help should also be considered.

Dont be naive. Do you think it is easy to stop price rise, unemployment, recession, inflation etc.? If it were so easy then every govt. would do it.

P C loosing
by SRIHARAN on May 16, 2009 02:38 PM

The better than the best thing done by voters of TN is making him to taste the dust of defeat in the election. When prices are spiraling instead of finding the real cause he asked the Reserve Bank to reduce the circulation of money thereby slowed down the economy and raised the lending rates blindly.Immediately when there is economic slowdown in other countries he removed all restriction on money circulation and announced many concession to Industries. That is why he was removed from Finance and put into Home Ministry. It is great that Indian People are escaped from PC.Congratulations to TN voters. The biggest blunder he has done is waiving of seventy thousand corers of rupees debt to farmers.

Celebrate PMK's defeat
by Raghavan Dharan on May 16, 2009 02:37 PM

A caste outfit, which encashed on the backwardness of the people, is defeated. It is a good less that people taught PMK. Their claim that wherever they are, their combination would win proved wrong.

Loss of PMK!!!
by Surya TheGreat on May 16, 2009 02:37 PM  | Hide replies

I'm sad that ADMK losing out to Cong in TN but extremely happy that PMK has been wiped out!!! Really I'm happy. PMK is an over-rated party who enjoyed the power at the center for 11 years.

This election proved that PMK didn't have any vote base, they always rode on either ADMK or DMK vote bank. Since, Vijayakanth is spliting the Anti-DMK/Cong votes, his weakness is exposed.

It's not only PMK lost in Northern TN but ADMK too lost here believed in PMKs vote bank.

Ramdoss can't go and meet JJ at any cost. Neither Cong or DMK will be in touch with them for long time.

DMK Politics
by S Suresh on May 16, 2009 02:33 PM

Karunanidhi is doing cheap politics in Tamilnadu by giving Freebies like TV, GAS to the people for votes.

This time its works out but not all the time, people will realise their mistakes if DMK not going any Growth for the State.

This Election they won because of their Power and Money Power and also with Freebies and they have not done anything to the Tamilnadu and ofcourse they have the reasons for the Tamil cause in Srilanka.

Congress now got the Lessons Let us hope atleast now do something for the Tamils in Srilanka to get the votes atleast in the Next Election.

Split in Vote
by Srinivasa K on May 16, 2009 02:32 PM

The main reason is spliting of vote by local political rivals. If there only one or two parties like in UK then we can really find fault on others.
New govt. should immediately attend to price control massive unemployment , recession, inflation etc and roll back our economy into normal stream.

what about DMk? They have been in power in Delhi since 1989 except for 5 years during NarasimhaRao regime. They too switched sides shamelessly just to cling onto power and amass wealth like no other could have.
